Don't forget Houston didn't have foster last week who was huge against Washington who also started rg3 who should have been the back up. Good call tonight papa, I think you could do without the i told you so stuff though. I had the giants also, they simply beat an overrated banged up tired team, and an overrated overhyped quarterback who the book is obviously now out on. Even against the lions i saw that this giant team had plenty of defensive talent in particular on the defensive line, but I, along with im sure everyone else, had no idea this donnell guy would turn into gronkowski circa 2010 in 2 weeks.
I warn everyone here not too get too high on this giant team just yet and remember who they beat, and the circumstances tonight. Obviously they made great strides, but like the falcons before them these thursday night games can really skew peoples perceptions, i fully expect tampa to give the steelers a game and perhaps win outright sunday, and i don't expect the failcons to roll anyone for quite some time.
I think one thing we can conclude for sure from past results right now is this. Detroits defense is very very good. The eagles defense is horrendous. And the jaguars are by far the worst team in the nfl.
