You're not actually laying more than a FG with Kirk Cousins as your QB, right?
If you like the Giants, Cousins isn't your concern. Eli facing the #4 defense is.

Shango unchained...but this is a dumb angle. How are the giants going to win this game?

Yikes.
How are you going to say don't take Cousins yet Eli is on the other side of the ball? Turnovers will play a huge part and Eli is always willing to oblige. Eli predictably got blown out by Det, singlehandedly cost them vs the Cardinals, and predictably beat the Texans because they matchup well with them and Fitzpatrick is actually a worst QB than them. Which is a roundabout way of saying he is 0-2 when he loses the TO battle and 1-0 when he wins it.
Also, I don't care what Cousins did last year for a lame duck coach on a team that quit on his team. As an Eagles fan you should know this same dynamic with Foles playing out the string in Andy's final season. He has a better team around him this season and is comfortable in the offense.
I'm sorry I just don't see how you figure Eli and the Giants are a better team than Cousins and the Skins.

Whaaaaaaaatttt? The Redskins are #1 against the run in terms of yards per carry.
Giants are 21st in in passing ypa against some suspect secondaries...LOL!
Redskins are 5th in ypa passing vs wait for it...Giants who are 30th in ypa against the pass while facing Drew Stanton and Ryan Fitzpatrick,,,give me a break.

Excuse Pappa for the mess he makes of things
I mean I'm trying to understand his logic here. There is literally no discernible argument that you can make for taking the Giants in this game. His ONLY hope is that Cousins turns it over because Eli definitely will in which case the Redskins should still certainly cover.

Giants are finished, they have issues...lots of them. They're just as banged up as anyone, and their offense is a mess.

Washington came out of Sunday's 37-34 loss at Philadelphia as a very banged-up club with cornerback DeAngelo Hall (ruptured left Achilles) and safety Duke Ihenacho (broken left foot) lost for the season. Linebackers Brian Orakpo (left middle finger) and Jason Hatcher(hamstring) and guard Shawn Lauvao (right knee) are also hurting.
"We're losing guys left and right," Orakpo said. "Football's a tough game. Look, if you've got kids and can't stand injuries, don't let 'em play football."
The Redskins held a late-afternoon walkthrough Monday and listed 17 players -- nearly one-third of the roster -- on the injury report.
"Obviously this is a week that I would rather not have a Thursday night game," first-year coach Jay Gruden said.

New York seems to be healthier after earning its first victory, 30-17 over Houston on Sunday. That doesn't mean the Giants' preparation for Thursday will be ideal.
Coach Tom Coughlin said his only full practice is scheduled for Tuesday with little physical work.
"Really the field work is very minimal," Coughlin said. "We want them to see everything but we don't want a lot of exertion in terms of...I want them to move around enough to help the soreness, work the soreness out."
