The hard part was making it look real... That's the part that really failed... We know on paper these two teams are the same... But the public was on detroit,, Baltimore is one of those teams people dont really get excited about... And with it being on Monday night,, its a hard one.. If it were Detriot -7 ,, i would take det for really large and cough up the points...

This is great entertainment.  You guys are seriously complaining that a game decided by a 61 yard FG outside Mile High Stadium was ... fixed????

The spread was never in doubt.  Detroit covered the -4.5 for about 5 minutes. Then Balt scores to make it 7-3 and Detroit never covered the game again.

I'm sorry if you guys lost money. I hope you win it all back next week.  But your fix theories crack me up.

    The fix happend here

6 huge calls against the LIONS Vs 1 HUGE CALL AGAINST Ravens
    Megatron drops 4-5 catchable passes...
Stafford throws the ball away or on the ground
Then miraculously gets a Td at the end of the game when they couldnt get passed their own 40 for fiftty minutes the whole time to make it look exciting...
Even the commentators said it was a bad call to make themselves look good and trustworthy...
Now a 61 yard kick was a good kick ,, keep in mind a 60 yard kick might make 50 yarders look easy.. so easy that they should kick at the 50 EVERY TIME... But kickers are told what to do and vegas does not want to alter thier scoring models... These guys are professionals... 50 yards aint SHHEEEEEAATT... And it would change the nature of this game completely...

Clean sweep  this weekend for networks and sponsors. BAL is still in the wildcard hunt and NFC north is a 3 team race and more importantly Windsor Lions aren't leading.

Brain lock by the BAL brain trust at the end made it uncomfortably close. If you're willing to trust your kicker at 61, shouldn't you run on 1st and 2nd, then try a pass on 3rd?

boston was waiting for ur insight on balt. u are usually spot on with that team.

dolph and vikings were easy picks. same as sd moneyline that i wasted on cowboys money line.

now with lions and dallas in must win situations im looking for a heavy bet to make my year

holding i laugh when ppl give kickers so much credit.

i can kick a 40+ with my right foot. and 30-35 with my left. and i am not a kicker.

the nfl can get any guy with talent to kick 50 yarders all day.

if they were smart they wod pick up david beckham for ratings LOL

Well guys,I do agree    1... that the final spread outcome was never in doubt....2..Megatron certainly could have caught those passes, or at least a few of them as he is just too good..3...The calls definitely favored Baltimore....4...The game before this was a disgrace as what, 4 touchdowns scored in a minute or two????.....HOWEVER, hmmmmmm, that 61 yard field goal could never have been scripted...It's just too far and unpredictable for any kicker...Every element involving that kick, the snap, the hold of the ball, the timing of..the kick etc. had to be just right....AND LASTLY, yep, the NFL got just what it wants like every year....EVERY POSSIBLE TEAM THAT COULD BE, STILL ALIVE GOING INTO NEXT WEEK... That's entertainment, , excitement and most of all, BIG, BIG BUCKS VIA TV, ATTENDANCE ETC....Can't blame them, wouldn't you want it that way????....So now what????...Do Balt. and SF, last years SP contenders, TANK IT?.....Now that would scold a lot of balls!!!!!!!!!....Eh?

To the books... Whether or not it made a difference is contingent upon how much ML money was on the LIONS... Either way Detriot was never going to cover...

    i agree with inthetank.

the books made their money with or without the final fg. even if they missed.i actually think they wod have made more if it missed. and lions won but no cover. but now balt in playoff race.

it was a win win for the house.
the fix wasnt so much on the spread it was on the under.

with the public looking at vikings and kc and gb putting up 35+ each. why couldnt det balt do the same right? LOL at the vikings game.

if the nfl truly cared about winning games.
then mkcown wod start for the bears.
adrian peterson wod split time with those amazing running backs last weekend for the vikings.
and green bay would have a qb controversy

Basically the league is no greater than your local circus show.. Other than its heavily televised much more money involved.. The integrity is about the same...

    Vegas wins

    THE UNDER
    THE SPREAD
    ML ON DET
What were the half time spreads? But thats enough...

Keep in mind this is off of ONE game.. That ONE game draws alot of attention and revenue from all corners...

Eventhough the payout will suck... Another person can see it as free money... I dont really play ML,, but sometimes key numbers 3,7,10 are to be questioned unless if you tease it with another play... Ny was a 14 point teaser against the hawks LOL...

see told ya ... Heat wins by 3... If you had the money like you would be okay... Remember when SF played Sea the first time and Seattle won? The second time SF wins but didnt cover because the RB decided not to run it in for a TD? Well this is the exact same game in Basketball.. Those are marqee matchups... Lebron at home,, alot of people want that revenge and will back the heat... vegas added 1 point or so just in case...

Indiana - Miami lmfao. The spread @ 3.0. Pacers on the ball 95-94, THEY HAVE NO TIMEOUTS, so what u would normally do here is, wind the clock down and go for the last shot or nothing, instead they turn the ball over in the most awkward way QUICKLY, its not like they are looking for an open opportunity and then finding one, no, its like they are COMPLETELY desperate and quickly turns the ball over so that Heat / Allen can knock in easy 2 fts.  And lets say that Allen had missed one of these FTs? No problem, we would just take a quick shot again - miss it of course - and then send them to the line again to give them a few more shots of hitting this spread  And what kind of shot was it in the end lmao? Was that George? One of the most awful shots ive ever seen, it looked like a shot a drunk Javele would take.

You gotta love it, and all the blind fans sitting down watching this game shouting "DEFENSE!" like a bunch of sheep.
