Do any of you know how much money Wal-mart makes per year? Microsoft? Apple? Facebook?

I am guessing the answer is NO. 

The reason why? Because multi-billion dollar companies (the NFL is one) know how to keep secrets. Have a nice day and go back to sleep--just like they want you to do.

By the way, if you cannot see by now that games are fixed or "manipulated" t ovarying degrees, then you should just lie down and die. You are useless as a member of society. 

Did you NOT ust see a Saints player intentionally miss a tackle which gave the Vikings the game? Here, lemme spell it out for the extra-dense. A few years ago, Blair Walsh misses a gimme FG on purpose, knocking his team out of the playoffs. This year, they are on the opposite end of the spectrum.

A few years ago, Peyton Manning takes a dive in the SB versus the Seahawks. Next time up, lo and behold, Peyton gets a gimme SB win from the Panthers. (I predicted that, BTW) Money line.

Do you think multi-billion dollar companies get to be so wealthy by being aboveboard? Seriously ?

Do you really believe these companies leave their fortunes to chance?

They get to be so big by cutting corners, paying bribes, evading taxes, and in some instances, murder. The NFL has its own "police". Kinda like the Vatican. It is why ALL investigations into game-fixing have been quashed and not made public. However, for those of you who cna read beyond a grade-school level, the records are there to be found.

Lest we forget the NFL was started by bookies and mobsters.

You belive in game-fixing deep down, but are TOO afraid to say it for fear of being ridicules. Your condition is not rare. Many posters here suffer from ball-less syndrome. 

No one here is in your employ, nor has to answer to you. Stop trying to get others to cover up for your lack of balls.

  Rain man not asking you to prove it just explain why this game was not "scripted" because with the Jags winning it was a crushing blow for the NFL and ratings.. Explain to me why they would not fix this game when it would have been the only game all year they really needed to fix.. Answer please..

The NFL playoffs and SB are a different monster. The NFL is the most watched TV event EVERY year. Hands down. They know that the average sports fan and then some will tune in no matter WHO is playing in the SB. Further, the NFL does not want to become the NBA, with CLE and GS in the finals every year.

Parity is good for the game--if you are looking for a motive to have JAX advance. A few years ago, a challenge much akin to yours wa sposted on here, for someone to repdict an outcome BEFORE the game. I took up the challenge.

Not only did I predict DEN +3 vs NE, but predicted the ML win. I predicted a PAT would be missed and affect taht outcome.

I THEN predicted a SB win for DEN vs CAR. I did a whole writeup about it, in detail. Very few on Covers gave DEN a chance to win. Peyton's done, they said. He can't throw. I predicted DEN would be spotted points to help their cause. It happened, and early. I evne predicted his retirement once they won the SB. All of this BEFORE the games.

WHY? Because I know games can be and ARE fixed to varying degrees. Now, please STOP. Be stupid but be quiet about it.

Refreshing to finally come across someone who understands the phoniness of the nfl. Covers and all other sports boards are predominantly sheep. 
The weather we have, the clouds, the snowstorms are engineered. The food we eat is scientist engineered in labs. But oh hell no sports are real no two ways about it.

I also think tom brady is as average as anyone else in the league. Give me a break that he's some goat untouchable superstar LMAO. Every year no matter who joins the roster, the pats become sb champs becuz he's just that good? Guy has all day in the pocket and his receivers are always wiiiiiide open no matter which defense they face. Looks what happens the odd time brady gets rushed, he runs like molasses. Superstar qb with the speed and athleticism of a tortoise.
The nfl can choose to make whoever they want become a superstar qb. Newton is even better than brady...guys got an arm, speed, precision and athleticism. 
Explaining to a grown adult that the nfl is fake is hopeless and pointless. If they cannot see if for themselves nothing will change that. Most likely those individuals line up for flu shots every year and pass thru burgerking drive through regularily while using dr pepper as mouth wash.

Its an entertainment business. Everybody and their mama bet on Pittsburgh for the reasons you stated. Everyone thought the ratings would be trump and put pitt in all their teasers and parlays. Just because you can't name the winner of the royal rumble right now today, doesnt mean its not scripted

I dont know how anyone who has seriously gambled on NFL could tell me with a straight face that its not fixed. Pay attention to point spreads and public betting percentages and its so obvious.... Anyone who denies it is prolly working for vegas or the NFL.  

It doesnt matter that Steelers are a good story vs Brady... what matters is that majority of public was backing steelers and the under.... Suprise, suprise Jacksonville/Over is big winner

Does the "script" matter? to a degree yes... if nfl can havegreat story AND make a profit? (Tom Brady first superbowl vs rams comes to mind. 9/11? New England nobodies vs high powered rams offense? Patriotism.... blah blah.... so obviously fixed)

But make no mistake. its money. its always money.

You guys are killing me. if you think it's fixed, then why would you ever read a write up about a game, post your opinion on what side covers, or EVEN BET? 

If you think Tim Donaghy manipulating point spreads means all sports are fixed, then you probably aren't going to listen to any opposing opinions anyway.

Sure.

That's not the same as saying the NFL is like WWE and the winner is predetermined. i've lost some bad bets and spouted nonsense in the heat of the moment. Who hasn't?

The amount of people you would have to silence to pull this off as an organization is mind boggling. Any monetary gain made by one fix would be negated if such a plan was found out about by the public, and it would. It would kill all sports gambling. 

You couldn't make enough money on one games action to merit taking the risk of doing it and getting busted. 

If you wanna blame a single person for trying to sway an outcome, go for it.

If you wanna suggest that the NFL as a organization predetermines game outcomes, then you aren't smart enough to be listened to.

The number of people involved in the NFL over the decades and not ONE PERSON has broken their silence?

The Dallas Cowboys are the most popular team in the NFL.  They haven't even played in the NFC Championship game since 1996.  Jerry Jones must be really pi$$ed that his team never gets written into the script.  Since he is such an easy going guy I am sure that he lets the NFL just walk all over him and he just accepts it.

Last years SB had the lowest viewership since 2009.  Atlanta not a huge draw.  From a $$$ standpoint the NFL is leaving billions of dollars on the table not including Dallas and Green Bay in the script.  The number 1 and 2 ranked teams in popularity.

PROBLEM?....the SCIENCE....of pulling this sort of thing off

What can't be debated is that the NFL can not be sued for match fixing. If someone was to find irrefutable evidence of this being the case, the league would be legally untouchable. In other words, they are LEGALLY FREE to match fix (per instructions from high-up to the refs who actually control the games).

Doesn't lend ANY credence to all of the ignorance you just spouted. Obviously, if you KNEW any ex-players, you'd know they sign non-disclosure agreements as part of their contracts. As do refs. Guess your many "ex-player buddies" never got around to telling you that.

I'll tell you what's dumb. Dumb is waiting for all of the answers to be broadcast on the national news. Now that is friggin dumb.
