GIANTS @ REDSKINS: It's rare that I say I'm not worried about a cover at all but...I'm not worried.

Eli mainly looks terrible and we just can't put up points, look at the last few weeks (especially take off that fluke last second lateral TD yesterday).Perkins is changing the run game for us and he will be effective against GB. DRC should not be considered a backup because he is better than Apple however offensively in our last 5 games we have not broke 20 points, we actually average 15.8 ppgYou think we hold GB to low twenties? I say they score at least 27 and that means we need to score 28+Don't like the odds.I may buy a point to 3 to be safe but think 4 is just fine.Prove me wrong G-men...you have before.I will gladly take the loss.
Tony, 4 offensive TD's in 16 quarters. Against:Dallas trying to clinch the division and avenge a opening season loss (and on an 11 game win streak). D won that game with poor O.Lions needing every win they can get. D wins that game with moderately good O.Eagles almost blow it- playing for nothing but always a tough division opponent on the road on a short week. If not for a special teams TD the Giants winSkins- it's all here in this thread.28 points for the Packers. No way. There is no way. Giants need only get a lead and nurse it on D and they can do that. And you get 4.5? You can buy it to 3 if you want but as a Giants fan I know you saw all these game!Jason there is no way it's going to 6.

Like I said it would move to 5 or even 6.
It's at 5.5 and still time left for that .5.
Eli would have to play his best game if the season for the Giants to win this. The Defense can't do it alone like they have been against Redskins, Browns, Detroit, Dallas....
Rodgers is not Dak Prescott or Cousins

Of course, there were other great cappers who discussed games with me, but they either did not share their trade secrets and/or their methods were of no use to me because they were based on elaborate systems that took months if not years to create and perfect.

My own system was, for the most part, based on psychological factors, which was right in line with Scal's approach. Understanding human psychology is the single most powerful capping tool out there and it requires no algorithms, no math, no elaborate system, and Scal is giving you free lessons on how it works every time he caps a game. If you are bright, you will learn from him. If you are not, you will bash him, focusing on what he got wrong instead of all the things he gets right.

44% or 70% or 100%...doesn't matter.....all of this seems rather pathetic. Is this your entire life Scal?

It reminds me of Andrew Golota vs. Riddick Bowe and the extraordinary stupidity therein. The guy simply won't go down so just give him a three punch combo to the groin, get disqualified and call it a day.

And I bid you a long-overdue adieu in the classiest way possible. And since it's the holiday's a Christmas movie reference is in order:

By saying goodbye in the same way John McClaine said goodbye to Hans Gruber as he fell in slow-motion from the tippy-top of Nakatomi Plaza legs kicking/arms flailing...

    With the movie's best line:

    Yippee-Kay-Yay Mudda Fu*K.

Hang myself? You need to learn to read, White Mamba. I said in post # 538 that I was hoping you could do it. I'm a little surprised. But, it was also your very first college football play of 2016. So I wouldn't be surprised if it was the only time you took accountability for one of your stinkers.

Since last night, two different people hit the nail on the head with their posts:

"Mentally unstable" and post # 548 asking if your entire life was all about gambling. Unfortunately, they are both right.

Take a look in the mirror, Scalabrine.

Ya can't have it all Tony. If you have the defense and offense clicking on all cylinders, you get no points here and the Giants probably have a bye because they won more games. There has to be SOME flaws going into this game.

We've seen Eli shine in the playoffs (obviously). In terms of being playoff-ready/having a playoff mentality, this is par for the course for him, as is going into the cold and ice of Green Bay for the team. Of ALL the teams who won't be affected by such a thing I'd say the Giants, Ravens, Pittsburgh and Minnesota are all the front-runners there. And you'd much rather have a lockdown D in cold weather than an explosive offense, and you have that. You can WIN THE GAME and you are getting points (and a nice number too). What more can you ask for with the few flaws you point out?

No it's not. I have more than enough away from this PC.

But what I am trying to do is bring YOU the good life, yes, even you who defames because I do not charge for exclusive access to whatever I know, because I want everyone to have it to beat the books.

And this is in what is really a ragged economy (and we all know it. If you are not at the upper echelon of the corporate ladder, you are not enjoying this skyrocketing Dow in any substantive way) where the dollar continues to buy less as our lives continue.

I can give you more of those dollars. For nothing...I won't be perfect but in the end you'll get what you need.

Now who's pathetic again? Come on back and let me know if you didn't change your mind.

Yeah, you have way too much time on your hands.

I would double check your "work". But, I don't care enough. Seems like a gigantic waste of time to me. You already wasted your time, so there's no reason for me to waste mine.

Any of you guys ever hear that Norm McDonald line?

"Now this might strike some viewers as harsh, but I believe everyone involved in this story deserved to die."

That pretty much sums up this thread.

Lots of losers in here. No pun intended.

And Scalabrine, you sir, are a disgrace to the name.

    Well folks,

If ya can't win this one I don't know which one ya can win.

And since we are all here, I'll stay right here instead of creating another thread. The Knicks should win. End of story. So I'll take the points but I really don't see myself needing them.

    The pick:

    Knicks +5.5 over Bucks

So you ask: What was encouraging from the previous game that would make me want to back the Knicks here?

    1. Knicks got jobbed

The NBA just admitted today that Giannis committed a "5 second back to the basket below the FT line" violation.

Knicks come into this one losing a game, with a psychological edge knowing, if the refs knew a very basic call, they would be heading toward a 2 game winning streak.

    2. Knicks on a 6 game losing streak

Famous angle: Bad team. Desperate team trying to snap a losing streak against a decent one. Knicks haven't won since Dec 22nd which probably seems like an eternity. Getting points/jumping on a losing streak at what you beleive is the right time. It's just a good spot to be in as a capper.

    3. Knicks get Porzingis back

If getting your second best player (and what will soon be your best as Melo starts to fade) doesn't jump start this team, nothing will. It'll be on a minutes limit but if the Knicks need him late he'll be out there.

It screams that Hornacek just wants out of this losing streak that he'd bring Kristaps back sooner than later. Doing anything to win from the top of the coaching staff to the botttom of the bench. That's what you want.

    4. Knicks outrebounded/Out-assisted/out-3 point shot the bucks last game.

It's been quite awhile since the Knicks did that.

And here's an additional stat which shows you how well they played:
They went to the FT line 12 times to the Bucks 31 times and still almost won (and the NBA admitted they really did win.). And worse they only shot 58% from the line. Clean that up and get to the line and you win. And for the Knicks to outshoot the Bucks from 3? That should give the Bucks pause tonight.

    5. Get Giannis in foul trouble. GET ANYONE in foul trouble.

If the Knicks can improve on one thing it is to attack this kid and everyone else. Take him off the floor with a quick two by going at him. End of story. It's very simple. If a poster on Covers can see it, Hornacek can see it.

    6. Our wildcard

Mindaugus Kuzminskus - 14 pts/4 Reb last game. 9pts can Orlando. This guy can hit the outside shot and attack the basket. Reminds me of Scal a bit. A nice little piece off the bench teams haven't figured out and whatever he can give is more than welcome when getting points.

In addition, I just checked a primary Milwaukee online news site and these were the predicted results from their staff:

    Bucks by 27!!!
    Bucks by 14
    Bucks by 7
    Bucks by 3
    Knicks by 3

They JUST SAW what the Bucks have. Knicks are the ones continually making adjustments to get a win of any kind. You have to win here. End of story.

The above predictions mean nothing on the court but as cappers on the other side we love seeing this. I've given all I can give on this one. Good luck. That is the line on 5Dimes right now.

Cold snap - the check is in the mail.

Lots of losers in here. No pun intended.

And Scalabrine, you sir, are a disgrace to the name.

    You have two posts.

And he routinely disgraces himself in jest. So you should be addressing the real Scal if you have a problem (which I don't).

I'll just say this Tony: what would you want the Giants to be on offense that you'd have to trade off on defense? Because there has to be a trade-off. You can't have it all. Usually one side of the ball excels while the other is passable. If this Giants team doesn't have what you want, I don't really know what you could be asking for. 4 Offensive TD's in 16 quarters against 2 playoff teams (and what was a third playing to be one) and one spunky division rival on the road. EVERY team has deficiencies when you look into the numbers. Giants are no exception. They cleaned up the Eli issue last game. Giants ONLY have to keep it close with this number.

I was responding to coldsnap. But, you are right. A deal is a deal. Unlike you, I actually have some self respect. So I hold myself accountable and always try to keep my word. Which is fitting, since you said you were taking a break from gambling after your last Knicks loss, yet you are back on them four days later. Reeks of a problem gambler.

    Adios, amigo!
