real - over 49.5 is a lot in the nfl...i dont think ive played one total this year. not sure how this stays under 55 though

That's what I thought at first, too.   Add in the Seahawks big HFA in their loud stadium, and the fact that this is a revenge game after getting knocked out of the playoffs last year by the Pack, one would think that Seattle would cruise to an easy win.

After I did the math, though....my system shows that the Packers should win S/U.    Also, early $$$ is flowing to the Packers....

I think I'll either back the Pack, or lay off the game

How are you, Well lets look at the patriots they have beatn kc, jets, sf not exactly the cream of the crop and this week they face san diego and don't let there record fool yea they are one of the better clubs i had the chargers winning this game before the start of the season with a healthy brady and now is even better but i hate the line still have to look everything over...........

As for the bears i had them winning the nfc north before the year and watched how everyone said that they would go 4-12, 5-11 or 6-10 at best and that we had no offense but i do believe were averaging 25 pts a game thank you and i'm looking at the packers to lose aaron rodgers probably around november 2 and then there stuck with rookies.....And the vikings have no offense hell look at last nite they had no business winning that game peroid but congrats to them.....And the lions are a total joke!!!!

As for the cowboys what's going on is that they have rode on this train the last 2 years come out go balls out in the regular season and what does it get them a first round exit so they are just not as motivated now but when we get closer to the playoffs expect them to turn it on i think they will be fine that was one of my picks for the super bowl the cowboys and i still like my chances.....

If this were the Olympics, Dallas would win a lot of individual medals.
Too bad it is a team sport and they are led by a bum and an idiot wide receiver........if Philly gets going, Dallas might be the 4th best in the NFC East.......GO GIANTS!!!!!!

34pp - matt forte is why you are where you are...dont think its orton. teams actually have to respect their ground game again which leaves man coverage for orton

So you are saying because we have a running game that's it not orton......Well does the vikings not have a running game what is there problem....How about the jags great running team 2-3 or the chargers also 2-3...I love how no one wants to give orton any respect and all the guy does is win football games!!!!

Funny you mention that as I very rarely place LARGE wagers early in the week. But didn't want to pass up the chance of losing my numbers on both SD in the NFL and LSU in the NCAAF........I hammered both of them this morning.

Koaj, you know my plays already.

Scoring should be no problem, but the one caviat would be that Wisenhunt gets the running game going and eats clock.

Against the Bills the Cards chewed some serious clock with their small, Giants-style passing game and run mixed in..if the Cowboys give this to the Cards while trying to stop the mid to longer pass, the score could stay down.

If Dallas gets an early lead of 10-14 pts or vice versa, the flood gates will be open.

Also check the 1H over..it has been hitting nicely this year.

Some general thoughts:

America's team really hasn't looked as dominant as people seem to act. The Cowboys have wins over Cleveland, Cincy (a real dog fight) and GB, which aren't all that impressive. The Philly game was back and forth and the Boys are supposed to win on their home field.

Arizona has nice home wins over Miami and Buffalo and a competitive loss at Washington. The Jet game was a debacle but they still put up a fight in the 2nd half with 5 TD's. They are showing an ability to blend in a good running game with an excellent passing game and I think this team is for real.

I lean towards Dallas.

Regarding Atlanta, it's a good spot for them with the Bears ont he road for the second straight week, but look at their 3 wins....they have beaten two of the worst teams in the NFL...KC and Detroit and knocked off  a beaten up GB team last week...CHI beat Indy, Philly and outplayed Carolina and should've beaten TB...much better schedule....also Bears could get Tommy Harris back this week as well as Brandon Lloyd....tough to back Atl....

are the bears someone we need to consider an elite team? elite meaning laying chalk successfully and often on the road in this league

Good running game that needs to be respected, average QB that doesn't lose the game for you, pretty good defense. I've seen this formula somewhere before (Ravens SB team)

If the Bears can get healthy on D they can make a run. For the time being we just get to lay short prices with them. Only reason I stayed away last week was the high number.

i dont watch every play of every game but orton makes very few mistakes. he's not a bomb like t jackson but i dont know if he's all pro type.

-jags have no o-line, no qb pressure
-vikings are incredibly flawed on pass defense

3rd - i would say this year's SB Ravens clone is the titans

Has anyone else noticed that Dallas covers on the Road... and doesn't at Home?     Maybe too much screwin' around for 'ol boy Romo and Jessica when playing in the Big 'D'.


Oddsmakers are right on this one.  They are overdue for a another blowout ;  Dallas has better  focus is better on the Road.

I like the Cards.  I keep waiting for the Cowboys to live up to the monster team they have on paper, but it just doesn't seem to happen.

i really like Seattle this week.

...don't understand how you'd have Arizona -2 or -3, Koaj? I love taking Whisenhunt as i think he actually knows what he's doing when he takes leads and then just grinds it out Pittsburgh style. I do like the Cards in this game, but I was surprised as i had Dallas -7.

...also like New England a lot next week. San Diego is having real trouble this year, and i think the rivalry that has developed between these two teams makes it much easier for Bill Bellichick to get his players as fired up as he can. Also think that Cassel is another Brady-type story, as there's gotta be a reason they didn't give up on him and draft another back-up stud to replace Brady in this situation. I never was a Pats fan, but i feel myself being pushed in that direction as everyone hates this team except for people from New England.

I see DALLAS scoring in the forty's.  I mean If BRETT FAVRE put up a score close to his age vs. the cards, maybe wade phillips can do the same.

defense is a diff. story.
im so sick of seeing that secondary play like trash. sick of it. speed kills [yourself??? i didnt fucking think so]!! I just don't see the D playing any worse. NEWMAN  PACMAN ROOKIE JENKINS...these guys have speed. USE IT!! 38-28 THE BOYS!

BILLS got destroyed! i mean destroyed by the 9yd slant route. WARNER had 21 completions for 180 yds or close to it. 8-9 yds per pass. IF Dallas doesn't play up on those I will be pissed. TRUST YOUR SPEED, TRUST YOUR TEAMMATES that are behind you and make a fucking play on those quick slants. CMON DALLAS.
