Good stuff my friend.  You may be onto something with this Pacers opponent TT thing.  I'd love to claim that trend as something I discovered on my own, but unfortunately, I promised myself not to steal anybody's ideas.  I won't claim your trend as part of my picks, but I will certainly give you credit and mention it in the picks.  It's fantastic and definitely noteworthy.

As always, stellar job alangrrbs, and a big shout out to Dgretzky69 too, for providing his insights about the Wizards. I believe these 2 teams will be our moneymaker for this season!

I'd love that season.  I don't think Wizard players and fans would like it, but it would sure help the Pacers get the number 1 seed.

For what it is worth I often will play an Under on the Pacers either half or game and wager half again on the team total for the other team-I often look and see if the opponent performs better offensively in the first or second half and I will labourchere this wager.

Kicking myself for not going against Carolina.  Interested you brought this up.  I've got a couple NBA ones I've got my eye on.

Any numbers on IND 1H Under yet? My book does not have it on the board yet. For what its worth, they do have the full game number up, the only game they have on the board this morning.
    I'd rather be playing D&D.

Any numbers on IND 1H Under yet? My book does not have it on the board yet. For what its worth, they do have the full game number up, the only game they have on the board this morning.

    5dimes has o/u 97.5 for 1st half currently

That is what I expected. Good to know getting an additoinal half point here. I will be pulling the trigger on 1HU when it comes available...
    I'd rather be playing D&D.

    Kings at Pacers

Interesting clash of styles here.  Kings have been scoring a lot recently...Pacers want to play hardcore D and slow it down.  Kings have played really good as of late, but that was all home games against lesser opponents.

Kings have been scoring a ton lately, and if you look at the numbers the last 3 games they've been holding teams to 40% shooting.  Question is, is that bad offense or good defense.  Well, IMO it's been a little of both.  However, I do like the interior D that Cousins brings to the table.  He leads the team in scoring, rebounding, steals and blocks.  That's a legit threat.  He probably tops the list of my most underrated player of the year.  If he got with a coach like Popovich, Carlisle, Thibs, or Vogel...he'd be one of the best players on a championship contender.  This team is the definition of inconsistent.  They've beat the Rockets, and Blazers...lost to the 76ers and Bobcats.  Tough team to figure out, but I like some of the pieces.  Individually they have lots of talent, they just aren't one cohesive unit.

Pacers have struggled on offense, and even though they beat up the Wizards the last time out, they only scored 93 points.  Lance should be good to go, and the Pacers are coming off a break they desperately needed.  Both teams are rested so we should see no fatigue as a factor.

Classic battle of an under team vs. an over team, and I love reading the posts of other people in a situation like this.  Half the people are positive one team pulls the game over...half the people are positive the other team pulls the game under.  Of course half will be right, and they will congratulate themselves cause, of course, it was obvious.  Anyway, I'm staying away from the total.   Pacers still have trouble getting started, and the Kings are a team that can get momentum if you let them hang around.  I like the matchups of Cousins on the inside, and Rudy on Paul George.  Should be good battles, and don't underestimate Jason Thompson's rebounding.  Last game against Cleveland he and Demarcus combined for 27 boards.  When the Pacers play a team that can match them in rebounding, they struggle.

Best value I think on the board right now is Kings +6 1h.  I don't know if the Kings can win this game, but I think they can keep it close, especially early where the Pacers have struggled.

Of course it goes without saying (but we'll say it anyway)...OH system still going strong, and we'll stick with it.  1h under 97.5.

Interesting stats if you're an over under player.  Look at the amount of shots the Kings have been taking recently.  With the exception of one game, they've been under 85 shots a game.  They aren't taking more shots than everyone, they've just been making more and shooting 50%.  If you're going to wager on game totals, looking at shots taken is very much overlooked.

    GL tonight everyone

Pacers steam roll these  cats with  a 8.7 Differential..

Kings arn't even @ a positive differental, and even worse diff. on the road (-2.6)

My math says 8.7 + 2.6 = 11.3, spread should almost be 11.5 which is where it opened at..

Now the line is -10.5 Value to the pacers at home.

Play On pacers -10.5 Ty and See you at the winners window.

Do you cap pacers beating down the knicks in a couple days time in indy? If so then kings should be the play tonight, but I'm wondering what you feel about the upcoming knicks game.

Composite- the OH system (or 1 half system) is basically this: Alan knows his team well and came to find out that at least one half of pacers games go under. Now obviously this isnt 100% but its something like 34 out of 37 games thus far at least one half whether its the 1st or 2nd will go under the total. If you play the 1st H under and win then congrats on the win. If it goes over, you double down on the 2nd H under. Its proven to be very profitable thus far and its a great system.

For what its worth Im on Kings +6 and under 98 in the 1H. Ive noticed when Indy is favored by 9 or more, they rarely cover the 1H so I see value in +6. I'm simply blind betting the under 1H because Ive had success with the OH system as well. Hope this helps

Great explanation.    Couldn't have said it better myself.  Only thing I'll add in is that it's a long term system.  We aren't picking exact games, or particular spots.  It's every game...theory is we will be ahead at the end of the year.

Interesting.  If the OH system were truly random you should at least break even, less the juice so I'll give this a try.

Just letting everyone know I'm working right now and am not watching the game so I won't have any 2h plays.  Except for 2h under if the 1h goes over.

Damn, I didn't think the OH system was ever gonna lose on 1 single pacers game. Haha. Great run Alan.

I missed getting the 2H under in, which looks like a good thing right now. Just curious does anyone know what it was? I'm guessing 99 or 100. Slight adj up from actual 1H.

I'm ready to lock in 1H under on next pacers game already...hopefully they play tomorrow.

The 2nd half under at both offshore books I use was 96 which unfortunately was not high enough. Lost 3.3 units at Both books.  Figures the one time I hit it a double shot... oh well.

Tough game, tough night for us bettors and for Kings backers.  I didn't see any of the game which I really don't like.  I feel like I can get a really good feel for why things are happening...good luck, bad luck, changes in rotations, etc.

Just glancing at the Pacers schedule and results, it's fairly obvious to notice that the games they play against Western Conference teams are way more high scoring than their games against Eastern Conference teams.  Aaaaaaaand look what we have coming up.  Seven games in a row against Western Conference teams.  I'll look into it a little more...we will have to see what the numbers say, but there could be some value in some of the totals coming up.  Pacers TT could have good value going over as they've had a lot of offensive success against these teams coming up.

As for the OH system, it wasn't going to hit every single game, but we are definitely in the positive money.  Going to see what the lines are for the games against the Clippers, Suns, Thunder, etc...might be a good idea to lay off that system and look at the over.  However, with the Knicks coming up...I'll be back on that system.

    Let's get it tomorrow night!
