It doesn't affect me one bit if he tips a minimum wage worker or not. If they don't like it then they should grab a basketball and try to make a better living.

ICAPS - That was my first thought exactly. No way his tab was only $800. I was Del Frisco's last week and my tab was $650 (4 people) and we didn't even order crazy expensive wine....

Well it never said what drinks they ordered...could have been bud light and if you look on their menu entrees at the high end run $50 and $8 for extra sides....$800 if anything sounds high to me for that establishment.

I looked up Roy Williams and found that he does in fact tip...but doesn't tip the pizza man.

It wouldn't be Morton's or nothing like that.

Sounds alike like Scottie Pippen to me. Pretty much every restaurant and server in Chicago know how shitty of a tipper he is. He is labeled, 'No Tippin' Pippen' even. An all around cheap fuck.

Maybe you missed a couple of my earlier posts .....

LOL! I just called this place and 'Joanna' answered the phone...I asked her if it was true and she just said "sorry, I can't comment on any of that".
 
I checked the prices with 'Joanna' because some of you were questioning the bill...this place isn't all that expensive, she said steaks range from $25-$50 and sides which serve 2 people are $8 a piece. So, two people could easily eat for $100-$150, then you have some drinks and $800 sounds like it could be right for 4-6 people.

Maybe he got bad service?? He kept the place open till 4am which closes at midnight. I dont care what service he got if he made them stay open you pay the price for it.

I don't respect what he did. Does he give to charity sure! Why because that looks good for publicity, and also you can write that off for taxes! You can't right off a tip. Its a dick move and I don't respect it. I bet when he goes to the hotel and the bellman carries his stuff he hands him a dollar!
 
If its true about tiger woods then I lose all respect for him too. Once you are in the workforce of having to serve to make tips its one of the hardest jobs. You gain so much respect for it when you do it and realize what you go through. More often then not people who are serving are usually in college trying to make tuiton, paying for books.

being a waiter myself this makes me sick, $10 thats b.s tip should have been at least $200. i mean cmon he signed a $90 million deal wit nike b4 he steped on court. but what if he gave them autographs and stuff wouldnt that be worth the non tip. just sayn id still be pissed. lost alot of respect for him if thats true. and tiger kill your self a no tiping policy whats wrong with you.

I was sitting with a chick at a table, all in the sudden i hear some guys at the bar saying HALEY in the HOUSE. I turned over to her and asked if she was going to leave my table for a LAKER PLAYER?
Her answer was classic....." Hell NO! He CANT Even PLAY Ball,WANTS Free SERvice And NEVER TIPS anyone In HERE,HE is A JACKass"!
Sure enough, He was there for 20 mins, NO CHICKS came over to sit with HIM.

anything short of 200 is an insult.  this dude makes soooooo much money.....even if you dont have money and you make a restaurant stay open late for you, you should at least tip like 40%, now if its lebron james he should have tipped at least $400 if not more.  ive seen high rollers simply match the tip and the bill (100% tip), now granted thats a little much but if i'm waiting at that table and i get ten bucks at the end of the night....well i dont know what i would do but it wouldnt be pretty
