Nothing pisses a guy off more than busting ass for someone and getting shafted. Pretty much the only job where that happens.
Yes, only service workers have jobs where you bust ass only to get shafted. Never happens anywhere else. You're in for a rude awakening if you ever decide to get a job in the corporate world.

Before I get started, I had the Celtics tonight.....so don't even think about it!
So anyway, I was listening to ESPN Radio's "The Herd" with Collin Cowherd today and I hear him telling this story that was reported in Cleveland about how LeBron was recently at very popular Cleveland steakhouse where he and his boys recently ate and drank until almost 4 am. Yes, he had the the restaurant and all of its staff stay open for him well past closing time. By the time he left he racked up an $800 tab and it was almost 4am.....he left a $10 tip. What the fuck?
Maybe he just received terrible service...

Well Lebron apparently decided he had better tip more, just go this off the TMZ website....
Could LeBron James' whole $10 tip on an $800 meal incident be just a big misunderstanding?
The owner of the XO Prime Steaks, where the whole stingy scene went down, has issued the following statement:
For the record, XO would like to clear up a misunderstanding resulting from a story that appeared in the Cleveland Scene on May 7th...Upon completion of his meal, Mr. James paid his bill with a credit card. Our waiter mistakenly read the receipt, inferring that Mr. James had left him only a $10 tip. To clear up the misunderstanding, Mr. James arranged for an appropriate tip to be delivered to the restaurant for the waiter.
Of course!!! His Cheapness gets bad press when this reaches the mainstream and his PR agent swoops in and clears up the 'misunderstanding.'

highly ignorant, but in America, you have a right to free speech. His country DID sell slaves but America, and the rest of the world also purchased them like they were cattle (literally putting chains on their neck and feet). Furthermore, after they were purchased, they were subject to some of the most inhumane conditions that not even a swine would want to endure. Beatings, rapes, and sometimes murder were the fate of many many many slaves. Also, Thomas Jefferson fathered many "slave" children. A Thomas Jefferson that is idolized in American grammar school textbooks.
Wouldnt it ruffle the feathers of white America to find that Lebron, could theoretically be a decendant of the Great and Heralded forefather of this country, the 3rd president of the United States?!
Thomas Jefferson, our beloved author of the Declaration of independence, makes Bill Clinton's antics with Monica look like they came out of an episode of Hannah Montana.
You can't be serious trying to make this a race issue can you? Every race has been oppressed at one point, and cyclic thinking creates racism. It has nothing to do with white or black, and slavery - your political drive on a gambling website means a lot by the way.

if this is true it's not a surprise Jay-z is in his corner. I have a friend that worked at the Four Seasons in las vegas out at the pool where he served him for 4+ hours and didn't get a dime

The cheapest tipper in the world is "Tiger Woods" He won 300K in Vegas and did not tip the dealer even $1.00. Charles Barkley is the best tipper!!!! That guy loses and still tips.
Second mouse gets the cheese.

Highly unlikely.....If that was the case why would he hang out well after closing time until 4am? Don't you think if he had bad service he would've left LONG before 4am? Sorry, but your theory makes no sense.,.

I think once this made national news headlines Lebron "sent over the right tip" to help the staff not slam his name. I think he truly meant to leave the $10 and it was no accident

It's up to the establishment on whether or not the 15% to 20% gets added...I haven't heard of it getting added due to a high dollar amount but rather to the number of ppl in the party

Not sure why the waiter would not have just added 15-18% to the bill anyway, then none fo this would have been an issue.
Just to educate you guys a little about the serving profession. At most places, it is up to the server whether or not to add gratuity to big parties. I almost NEVER add gratuity because you run the risk of getting less by doing that. If you add 15% gratuity, you might have gotten 20% or better if you hadnt added it.
Lebron is a piece of shit. Im definitely planning on going to a Clipper game when they play the Cavs next yeat. I'll go the Clipper game rather than the Laker game so that I can get real close to the court and not have to spend $500. Im going to heckle the shit out of that cheap bastard.

Lebron probably wrote 10% on the tip line (which is still cheap) and the waiter thought it said $10. Glad he sent in some more money. (Probably brought it up to 10%, LOL.)

Who make the best tippers, former waiters and small business owners, I happen to be both!
Lebron, if he chose to go to college, might have had to get a job to pay for some expenses, and thus could have been a better tipper, he just might not know any better!!!! I am sure he does know now, and I am sure he will never go back to that restaurant, and the owner prolly fired the waiter that spilled the beans!!!!!!!!
