Spurs -15.67 over Blazers ....... using after the break
Spurs -10.92 ...... full season
Spurs -13.3 .......Ave of the 2
It appears book is using the full season for Spurs as i talked about before.
Generally they will jack up the close-out game line. Based on game 1 & 2 -11 to -11.5 i have from my local book a -12 is a small move up but not much.
With close-out games for both Celtics and Spurs likely 1 team will win big. Both may cover but I'll pass as they may go 1-1 ATS.
Spurs i would lean is the better choice to cover but I'll pass.
It is possible if one of these 2 teams wins big that brings us our first playoff regression game to start the next round. I hope we get it.
Usually we do get at least 1 team in the 1st round most years.
I'd lean the Knicks to get it done tonight and take a 3-2 lead in the series.
Not sure if they cover but would not surprise me if they do. How much better the Hawks are after Yound trade I don't know so I'll pass for now.
Hawks won 2 games by 1 pt each game. That is more luck based people, we've gone through this time and again.
Hawks making all the right plays late and getting lucky breaks. This is very similar to the Pacers last year. Haliburton was making last second clutch shots at an all-time record shattering pace.
Not sustainable, but he did for a little while till the finals.
Do you think this same lighting will strike 2 years in a row ? I don't. !!
Will Hawks continue ? I would not count on it.
We'll see.

I like pistons as well but like the 1st half better, they got to come out with a killer mentality and play hard. They cant play around with this game, so expecting them to be up big the first half.

Embiid is back and 76ers play well game 5 with him.
But Celtics in a 2cd closeout game and the clearly better team the play has to be on Celtics.
My line is on Hawks and Knicks off 2 ATS & SU wins and off a big blowout 29 pt win.
Not the best spot for the Knicks.
But with both PR I & PR II on Knicks by a big amount to win this series , such a large difference in each team rarely goes to a game 7.
For me to back the Hawks I'd have to believe the Hawks are much better after the Young trade l by a good amount then in these cases the series does have a good shot to go 7 games.
Since I don't know that I have to pass.
Twolves at home getting 5.5 or 6 pts. With Ant out and the other player out how many pts are the 2 worth ?
With my line Twolves -2.31 there is over 8 pt difference with Twolves +6 at +5.5 there is over a 7 pt difference that is too big a difference Ant and the other players is not close to being worth that much higher.
This is to big a line adjustment for the 2 players.
I'd lean Twolves +6 or +5.5.

If Donte DiVincenzo happens to peruse Covers.com, I think when he gets around to opening this thread, his forehead is going to gently hit his desk after he reads that, lol.

The Hawks finished 24-17 at home this season, but check out their final 15 regular season home games...
defeated the Nets 115-104
defeated the Wizards 119-98
defeated the Wizards 126-96
defeated the Blazers 135-101
defeated the Sixers 125-116
defated the Mavericks 124-112
defeated the Nets 108-97
defeated the Bucks 122-99
defeated the Magic 124-112
defeated the Warriors 116-110
defeated the Grizzlies 146-107
defeated the Kings 123-113
defeated the Celtics 112-102
lost to the Knicks 108-105
defeated the Cavaliers 124-102
I realize much of that competition was soft, but look what they did to them! The Hawks went 14-1 and 12-3 ATS. But now they're going to lose to the Knicks at home for the 3rd time in 4 tries this month? Are the Knicks that bad a matchup for them? I didn't watch much NBA this season. Can someone answer that question?
