Marte, McClain, Hayes at the bottom of that Reds' line-up is pretty weak too. All sub-.200 bats. But you never know in baseball. They could come alive today.

The strength of this Reds lineup is up top, and that’s where we need the damage.

Elly can wreck a game by himself, then Stephenson, McLain, Marte and Lowe give us enough real bats behind him to make Keller work. The bottom isn’t pretty, but Keller isn’t some overpowering arm who should cruise through this order.

For the first five, we just need the top half to get through a couple times and put Burns in front.

A game where line movement was favoring cinci then dropped big out of no where in the favor of pit. 

What I'd like to see is Greene in a Bucs uni his next start. I'm dreaming though.

There was some buyback from the opener, but if MLB outcomes could be predicted that accurately by line movement, everyone tracking steam would hit at an absurd rate.

Pittsburgh could absolutely smash today. But saying the line dropped, so the other side must be the winner, is about the weakest handicap there is. Line movement is information, not a crystal ball. I’m trusting the actual work on the matchup.

 Agree with you but I tend to stay away from these kinda of drops. And your right they are not always right but more right than not. Just saying. Good luck I'll be pulling for ya!

The 'Mo' factor kept me off Cincy today. Picking up Dotel has to be a boost for the Bucs. A little support from the front office for a change. Bucs in the playoff hunt, Reds setting up their golf schedule.

Where's the data on this being more right then not. Have you tracked any, no offense but this seems like personal bias. You've experienced this yourself so you accept it as reality but given a large enough sample size there's no significant edge using this logic. Just isn't. But do what works for you
