Skubal gets rocked

The Cubs are just four games back of the Dodgers. This Cubs season keeps getting better while the lackluster Dodgers are running on fumes these days.

I hope this guy loses every game he pitches for the dodgers. Nice call Sir .

Maybe the Dodgers don't win it all this year. Bullpen very suspect. There are some poor hitters like Mookie Betts who won't just turn it on when need be. Need be is now. Cubs and Brewers are looking like they could go for it. 

Congrats on the Win, but to clarify your post was simply that "Skubal Is Gonna Get Rocked Tonight". You didn't post the Cubs as a play or give any other rationale as to the Cubs winning. And Skubal did NOT in fact get rocked. He pitched very well. Only 6 baserunners in 6 innings, good command, etc. He did make ONE mistake, but Skubal was not th reason the Cubs won. It was Assad, the Cubs bully, and the Dodgers punchless bats last night. So frankly this is a massive goalpost shift...You may have won the bet (that you never posted), but it wasn't for the reason you capped it for...i.e. you lucked into it.

You almost fooled me with your second post. You are in fact a troll.Skubal did 100% get rocked by his standards. That is not debatable. My post was to gather other people's opinions which it was %100 successful in doing so including yours minus your last trolling post. So take your massive goal post and shove it up your arse.

 Nice win.  But I am not sure I would call it 'rocked' for him.  Dodgers just game him no run support.  But Cubs p[itched and played well also.

4 hits and 2 runs through 6 is not rocked.  He basically had a 3.00 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP.

Obviously 2 walks and the bad pitch on the homerun.  

I didn't have anything on the game.   But I would not say he got rocked really.

Well, no particular play was posted but the info was good even though I would say he did not get rocked. 3 ways you would likely bet this. Cubs TT over, Cubs TT over first 5 or Cubs to win. 2 of the 3 won so it was a good post

 Agree to disagree lol. Your points are valid but there is a reason why the Cubbies were big dogs despite some numbers indicating other wise,Skubal was expected to pitch lights out. Just my take. Value both your opinions

 

 

Dodgers are just waiting for october sure they would love to get the #1 seed but they know it doesn't really matter. But if arizona or san diego make a run at them for the division then they will have to stop coasting and get serious.

Dodgers keep fkng around and they won’t be #1 seed in 2 months, I had cubby RL +1.5  for +108, lol.  That was  insultingly too easy and covered the whole game.   That had to sting though,  dropping all that money on the “stud Ace” and yet another loss in a row.   

And what was even better than that, is when Skubal flew in Sunday night from Seattle, instead of them just meeting the next day for introductions, the Dodgers had to show off their new Trophy on prime time Sunday Night baseball during the game.  Bad thing is instead of it hyping up the team and play better, it really just fired up the Bosox for the 3 game sweep on the road at your house!

You can't even take a little discourse. The whole chain is telling you that Skubal did NOT get rocked. That was in fact the title of your post and THE ONLY angle you ever posted with, no pick on the Cubs OR any other rationale beyond Skubal getting rocked...which again...is NOT why the Cubs won. You also just shifted the goal posts one more time too by now retroactively changing your argument after the fact to "Well he got rocked...by his standards" which was never a qualification you made at any point prior to your prediction

I congratulated you to start. I din't make it personal...it was based on the CONTENT of your post. I wasn't trolling. But now I certainly will. The people on here that just want yes men and sycophants are the trolls (or more like little girls). Plenty of people on here can handle a back and forth. You are clearly not one of them.

Taking a victory lap when the whole foundation of your post was proven to be wrong is lame. If you think Skubal got rocked or was the reason the Cubs won, you either didn't watch the game or are ignorant as they come, and don't know your baseball. 

I give honest opinions on this site. That's what makes capping better. For example, I actively seek out people giving me reasons why my bet might NOT succeed. It keeps everyone including myself more informed.

Skubal: 6 IP, 4 H, 2 BB, 6 K, 1HR only 85 pitches thrown.

 

He was efficient, got a lot of swings and misses and soft contact, walked 2 which isn't great but not terrible, and only gave up 4 hits. He made ONE big mistake to Swanson. The 2nd run he gave up was on a ball that was chopped off the plate with two outs at an exit veto of about 70 that took a bounce that went probably 40 feet in the air. Unlucky.

So ya I AGREE WITH YOU it "is not debatable" as you say, but not in the way you think
