Thank you, Mitch, I appreciate the concern. I’m a very low volume guy and I never press anything. This game has had my attention all day, and I go big on everything I bet, it’s because I’ve put the work in. I think there’s an edge, but I’m still going to give it another hour and see what we find.

Emmet Sheehan allowed just 3 hits and one run in 5 innings vs the Mets last start last Sunday.

However

Emmet Sheehan is 0-12 since August 2025 starting on extra rest when he allowed no more than 4 hits last start.

Just my opinion...

But I don't think that the Red Sox really care who their opponent is. They go out and play winning baseball, and they've been doing it for over a month now.

I'm on Boston full game.  Not sure why you would negate the bullpen advntage the Red Sox have as well. Every single arm in that bullpen is legit...

The Dodgers went 0-12 in those games and Sheehan himself took the loss 6 times. Four of the games occurred last year in August and September where Sheehan posted a 3.22 ERA in 22.1 innings.

The other eight games are from this season where Sheehan has posted a 5.97 ERA in 40.2 innings. He’s had some bad starts in this situation, but most of them occurred on the road. He suffered a major clunker at home vs. the Orioles on June 21st.

 Red Sox bullpen ranks 2nd in MLB in xERA (2.78) and xFIP (3.41), while Boston’s team offense has cooled down after the All-Star break (16th in xwOBA at .306). ... starting to like the under 8.5
