The biggest danger is obvious  deGrom is still very good underneath the 3.87 ERA. He just went five innings against Baltimore with one run, three hits, nine strikeouts and one walk, and his Statcast profile still grades well in velocity, chase, whiff, strikeout and walk rate

But Urena continues to hold up under scrutiny. He has a 2.83 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, only six home runs allowed in 101.2 innings, and the Statcast preview has him at roughly 86.9 mph average exit velocity allowed, 33.3% hard-hit rate and .286 xwOBA. That is not a profile screaming fraud ERA

Texas has scored only eight runs through the first three games of this series, and they are now 1-5 in Anaheim this season

My wife makes a great breakfast and a damn good sandwich, but once a recipe gets past three ingredients, we’re in trouble. Tonight she made breadcrumb free, egg free meatballs over mashed potatoes with jarred red sauce and cheese and some other shit. Then she tells me she found the recipe online. I’m like, Faceboo She says you’re probably not gonna like it. Yeah, no shit. Great ass, questionable kitchen skills.

Last one. She says she needs grated mozzarella, but we’re out. So she grabs fresh buffalo mozzarella and starts trying to grate it. I’m like, that’s fresh mozzarella, it’s not going to grate well. Just chop it up. She says the recipe says grated. I’m like, alright, grate that up and let me know how it works.
