Matthew Boyd gets a favorable matchup against a Kansas City lineup that has struggled versus lefthanded pitching, Randy Dobnak’s 1.16 ERA looks much better than his underlying numbers. Both lineups are out, and Chicago still has enough of its core bats in there to attack

Marlins First 5 -0.5 (-105)
Ryan Gusto is coming off six strong innings against Atlanta and gets an Angels offense that has been one of baseball’s worst against righthanders recently. On the other side, Grayson Rodriguez has been getting hit hard all season, and his underlying numbers support the ugly ERA. Both lineups are out, and Miami is on the Shortcard

Pre-lineup, Detroit Tigers full game Moneyline -130 is definitely on my short card.

Troy Melton gives Detroit a strong starting-pitching edge, but Logan Webb is good enough that I don’t want to force the First 5. Over nine innings, I like Detroit Short card

Miami starts at 10:40, Detroit at 1:05, so ideally Detroit’s lineup comes out early enough that I can evaluate all three before Miami starts . I don’t want to pass on a fully vetted Miami F5 just because Detroit might become better later, only to find out Detroit rests two important bats or gives us a weak Sunday lineup.
