Those are all 10 commandments based.  There are literally hundreds more moral contradictions in the bible - BECAUSE THE BIBLE PRETENDS THAT MORALITY IS ABSOLUTE - and it cannot stick to its own rules.

    But lets start with those.

We have been through this before.

First of all, if everyone FOLLOWED the bible to the letter of the law. NO one would be in any of those positions to make such choices.

Your examples, if you are a CHILD that knows no better, God knows in the heart your intent.

If you are an adult, there is NO excuse whatsovever.

IS IT PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU NOT TO STEAL, MURDER, LIE, COMMIT ADULTERY, BE JELOUS etc etc.

    Just a yes or no.

Dont answer the question, with another question, just a yes or a no

Noooooooooooo, you are blurring the lines. No, I'm not forced to do evil and wicked things, but I don't believe in this BS.

This is what your boy SJD put out. Maybe you need to address him.

So now maybe you can answer this question. If according to SJD man is created evil, wouldn't he be expected to do evil things????

    just say yes or no

Don't answer the question with another question, just say yes or no

Thats all i need to know.

I dont need to answer your question because you already answered it in the 1st part.

I dont know what SJD is talking about. No where in the bible is it written that we were created evil.I only know what i know.

God created us in his own image,

We have an ability to do evil things, but that is only a side cinsequence of free will.

I have an ability to rape a woman, doesnt mean i do it.

So u are now bagging God because he gave me an ABILITY to rape? He should not given us the ability? is that where you are getting?

Are you ultimately saying that God should never have given us an ability to rape?

I like how I answer your question, but you can't answer mine. Tells everyone on here a lot about you...

I dont know what SJD is talking about. No where in the bible is it written that we were created evil.I only know what i know.

Then maybe you need to know what you are responding to before you do it. That's your problem, you try to change what people are talking about to fit your needs....

    2. According to Kant, if a murderer comes to your house and asks you where person X is and tells you he plans on killing person X, if person X is in your house, you are morally obligated to tell him. I am not saying Kant is right, I am merely pointing out the subjectivity of morals. I personally believe you should lie and say you don't know where person X is. That is my moral belief, which directly contrasts Kant's. The mere fact that my belief can contrast his at all so drastically is evidence of subjective morality.
    3. Vanzack said "A starving person steals a loaf of bread." Boberts responded "Don't do it, god will provide."....No he won't. He doesn't do anything. The starving children in Ethiopia continue to starve until they die. I personally don't think the starving person should steal, but if they did and explained it was either steal or die, I really can't blame them for trying.
    4. Arguing that there are more Christians in jail isn't exactly the best argument because, well, of course there are more Christians in jail, there are more Christians in general. The main issue, one which I think SJD would agree with, is the vast majority of Christians believe because they were told to, or out of fear, or because they think they'll get into heaven, and these are all the wrong reasons. Belief should be shown by actions and being a good person...which brings me to the most important point, that being the fact that you don't need god or Jesus to be a good person. So therefore, ultimately, the sole purpose of believing in god and/or Jesus is to get into heaven, which we agree is not the right reason to do so. Ultimately, there is no purpose for belief in god.

    1. The Bible says they were people living 900 + years, and I believe it. And kitty do you mean to accuse God of sin? If you are that is blasphemy!! God is the author of the Holy Bible and so you are calling him a liar? God blessed the human family with long lives up until God saw the World gone wrong with all the human wickedness on earth. Because of this the Lord said, "My Spirit will not put up with humans for such a long time, for they are only mortal flesh. In the future, their normal lifespan will be no more than 120 years." (Gen. 6:3)

    2. First you should see if you can reason with this murderer to talk him out of killing person X. If that doesn't succeed, if possible try to apprehend him. You have person X with you that can help you apprehend and immobolize this crazed murderer. Next you immediately call law enforcement. This would be the best or ideal way to handle this critical situation IMHO.

    3. You and your brother van keep asking the same questions that were answered before. Did you folks lose your short term memory?...lol I suggest as we go along yall take notes to help you folks remember answers. The other night you forgot about God giving us freedom of choice to do what is right or what is evil. I had to remind you of that. I know br. Rostos told you folks numerous times in the past the answers of the questions you seem to keep asking...over and over and again and again!...lol So go back in the thread and you will find your answers and when you do right it down and keep it for your notes...lol

    4. There are definitely reasons why people believe in God. To say that whatever those reasons are, are all wrong reasons is simply ludicrous. And of course there is a purpose to believe in God when you're speaking to a Christian. But for you because you're a heathen there in no purpose for you because you don't believe, you don't understand. You can't speak for everybody when you make your Ultimately statements...that is so ludicrous! Who do you think you are? You're just a lost heathen if you ask me.

No. No one lived for 900 years. It's a fact that the lifespan of human beings has gradually INCREASED over the course of humanity. Humans have never lived for more than 120ish years, but will because of SCIENCE and advances in MEDICINE. I am not calling god a liar because god didn't say anything that he could've lied about. Man wrote the bible.

That's if you believe that story as literally true. In reality of course, they didn't exist, there was no original sin and so Jesus died for no reason at all.

There are similar claims of long life spans in the secular literature of several ancient cultures, greeks, romans, Indians and chinese.

So , even neutral or non believers claimed that people lived to that age

Not according to your buddy SJD...

Let me start today with the Lord's prayer. For you irresolutors & heathens, I don't know what you do, you have no instruction manual, no guide for your lives but we Christians have a instruction manual and it's called the Holy Bible and the author is God. Ok let's recite the Lord's Prayer. Fee free my irresolutor & heathen brothers & sisters to recite the prayer below. Ok let's bow our heads and pray.

Might want to start responding to his posts instead of mine

the fact that there is always another question is why you must believe in a higher power.

If you believe in science there is always another question for each statement.  For example If your statement is "The big bang created the earth".  You can always counter that with the question "What caused the big bang"

The fact that nobody can solve that combined with the fact that something cant come from nothing leads me to believe there is absolutely a higher power.

Now, God would be the absolute most obvious choice of the higher power.

So much evidence is provided in the Holy Books, and if you keep telling me you dont believe in the Holy Books, I will always ask the question of how your scientific theory can be proven?.  How can something come from nothing without a higher power?

    How...

    Thats exactly right.

You cant have an infinite regress.

As i have stated here over 1 mill times.

1.At the big bang, the universe was born.

    2. As the universe was born, space, time and matter BEGAN to exist. Prior to this moment, there was NO SPACE, NO TIME and NO MATTER.

    3. Crunch time. You either think SPACE, TIME and MATTER created itself out of nothing, by nothing for nothing OR you think something OUTSIDE of space , time and matter created these.

If you take the former, you believe something can come from nothing. If you believe in the latter, you believe in a higher power.

People say multiverses, that is purely theoretical. No different to me saying there are kangaroos playing baseball on Mars.

Furthermore, if you believe the former, you think everything we see, hear and to is the result of an absolute fluke, pure luck.....An explosion at the print factory randomly caused the dictionary we read today......

I know what i believe in.....
