I'll give you this much... I don't know much about cancer in other countries. However, I don't understand how the U.S. government since 1974 has known that Cannabis has anti cancer properties, and yet research by many institutions gets denied federal funding because it's a schedule I drug. It's antiproliferative (it prevents the spread of cancer), it's proapoptotic (it destroys cells that are dying before they can become mutant or cancerous), and it kills cancer cells while leaving the healrhy cells untouched. Doctors all over the world know this to be fact. The cannabanoids CBD and THC are largely responsible for these characteristics. Yet we have millions of people dying of cancer every year worldwide. Why can't we the people grow a plant and use it for medicine? It's a natural plant that has never killed anyone in the history of mankind. It's never once caused cancer or any disease. There is no record of it ever happening. It has no side effects. None. Yet the chemo drugs can cost up to $30,000 for eight weeks of treatment, and the drugs kill everything in the human body. They often give people cancer, the exact illness they're trying to fight. Why isn't Cannabis being used as medicine everywhere in the world? What's the hold up? How many more millions have to die? This is genocide in every sense of the word.

I think it has something to do with Hemp. Only way to see the difference between them is roll up and smoke it.
Cotton industry don't want hemp come back, and all the farmers don't want that . Allowing Marijuana grow will effect not just Drug company, also Cotten, Farmer , Oil , Lumber , etc. That my friend, i might call it conspiracy or looking after special intrest.
I do think it has a little to do with cancer part though.

there is no money in the cure. the industry can make billions dollars in the cure but feeding medicine and hospitlizing people will make trillions. MAKE SENSE GUYS. they do not want any kind of cure. also these birds disease that they claim is out there that is just to make extra dollars by the federal government for your DUMBASS to run and get a shot for 20 bucks

I agree that it's ridiculous that clinical trials of cannabinoids as a direct cancer treatment are being held up, but this post is a bit misleading.
It's not as simple as growing your own plant and smoking a joint. For it to be effective, the cannabinoids would have to extracted and injected as a concentrated dose. They would also have to be used in conjunction with chemotherapy drugs, so you can't really praise cannabinoids while railing against the evils of chemo.
Also, there are currently on-going clinical trials that are looking into using cannabis to treat the side-effects of cancer, so it seems like a good bet that this will eventually get the green-light as well.

Weekends... you are correct in saying that smoking Cannabis cannot cure cancer, although it can help to prevent it I do believe. But as for using it in conjunction with chemo... I've never heard of that nor would I try it. I would never use chemo to fight cancer and I don't give a shït what the oncologists say. Exercise, good diet, no tobacco... these things prevent cancer. If I would ever get cancer, I would get hemp oil. I would exercise more. I would cure myself using all natural medicine and herbs. And I would beat it. Or I wouldn't... but the chemo companies wouldn't make a sungle dime off me.
