Whatever god he believed in. It could just be the creator of the universe and that's all god was to Hitler. Doesn't have to be affiliated with any official religion.

I am not sure as to where you are getting these thoughts from, but you are way off on them. You alluded to conceit earlier as well.

I am far from conceited and have a difficult time getting along with arrogant, pridefully people.

I do my best to love them, accept them and carry on a relationship with them, but for me it is very difficult.

I in know way want to come across as prideful nor do i want that attitude/spirit in my life. I apologize if that is the way that I am coming across, but you must know that is not/nor will it ever be my motive.

I hate pride as every AUTHENTIC Christian should.

It is one of the 2 monsters that every TRUE believer daily tries to defeat out of one's life. The other being selfishness.

Pride is what turned Lucifer from an angel to a devil. Pride has dethroned kings and destroyed entire nations.

Pride ruins men's lives and I for one despise it.

So, again I in no way want to come across as prideful. I will be the first to admit that I am NOTHING. I am never, ever better than anyone else, nor will I EVER strive to be.

I am happy and content putting another person above myself at ALL times and seeing God get the glory in all things!!!

Further, we learn some interesting things about this God who created the universe. He is:

• Supernatural in nature (as He exists outside of His creation)

He did this to provide the way to live forever with Him on a new earth and a new heaven forever!

He cares whether you choose Him or not, simply because He created people with a free will to choose whether they wanted Him in their lives or not.

Otherwise, He could have created people with no free will, that would be forced to want him and to serve his plans and purposes for all of eternity...but that wouldn't be TRUE love.

He wanted me to love Him for Him, not a coerced or forced love upon Himself.

You mention you try not to be selfish, but by definition, many christians are selfish. Most christians do what they're told to get into heaven, so essentially they are only looking out for themselves...

I'm not saying ALL christians are this way. I'm sure there are some who just genuinely want to be good people, but if christians were told there is no heaven, I'm sure many would no longer take part in the religion. At the core, most people are selfish, and religions based on rewards feed on this selfishness. Quite genius really...

So you believe there would be no morals today if not for religion? You think people wouldn't have thought, "Maybe we shouldn't kill each other." or "Maybe we shouldn't take other people's crap."? I promise we would have figured it out without religion...
