Have been told they plan to start putting aspartame in the milk supply.
And it won't be on the label

Anyway - haven't eaten MCD or TB in probably 10 years.  I think I know why Scal asked - because 10 years ago there were far less choices - but now with all of the fast casual choices out there like Panera, Chipotle etc - I really don't know why someone would eat at MCD or TB either.

I did do a little looking on-line and there is talk that it does contain gelatin.  I normally order the the "fresco" menu the few times I do go so it's pretty rare that I eat their sour cream.

I haven't been to Chipotle in almost a year....one of their burritos is about 3,000 mg's of sodium when all is said and done.

TB probably isn't much better, though.

I literally go to the grocery store 5-6 times a week in order to eat well.  If I try to buy a week's worth of fresh food, my schedule invariably changes and I end up wasting a ton.

All things considered, a person who eats fast food even up to 5 times a month is probably in the minority.

I'm lucky enough to have a job where I can spend some time over the noon hour making my lunch.....many people are stuck eating a Lean Cuisine at their desk almost every day.  Sad state of affairs.

It's not the freezer per se, it's what you put in it.  I make a lot of low sodium / lower fat soups and stews with vegetables and lean meats and freeze them in one serving containers.  A lot better than pulling out a lean cuisine or frozen pizza.

It was sarcasm.   Obviously you can pack it all with fruits and vegetables.

To blame a freezer is like blaming McDs for a person's own free will when it comes food choice.

As a capable sarcastic a$$ myself, I am disappointed I did not pick up on this.

That is correct. You cannot have many candies if vegan because of gelatin, a cute like jello  substance when it's finished, and looks like something out of the movie Apocolypto beforehand with the spare body part pile-up.

There is no reason to have gelatin in sour cream....

Anyway - haven't eaten MCD or TB in probably 10 years.  I think I know why Scal asked - because 10 years ago there were far less choices - but now with all of the fast casual choices out there like Panera, Chipotle etc - I really don't know why someone would eat at MCD or TB either.

I skip the burritos at Chipotle and go for steak or chicken soft tacos with black beans, green salsa and lettuce.   If you skip the cheese/sour cream/guac it's pretty light on calories and still tastes good.  You need more stuff to fill the burrito.....the tacos are smaller and you don't need to much to fill them up.

So how many carbohydrates does a serving of lettuce contain?  Saying "lettuce is a carb" seems just as inaccurate as saying "bread is a protein" - When referring to foods, it's usually the majority of the nutrition that is referenced to that food.  Bread is carbs, Meat is protein, etc.  Stating "Lettuce is a carb" implies (to me) that most of it's nutrition will be carbohydrates.

You can view it and interpret it as anything you like but it's still a carb.

Everybody's so paranoid about these miniscule contents added in food at the grocery store it's pure comedy. We're all gonna die. Just shop eat and live, nobody's trying to poison you.

Most of the world eats dog chit out of a trashcan and they're doing just fine - be happy we have a strict food exaimination process in this country.

    You're right.

And for the richest nation in the world to eat dog chit masked as everything but is the greatest of ironies.

DO NOT put this fast food crap in your body...

You are literally hastening your demise.

Big Red is a food bigot which is the worst kind of bigot there is.  By being against McD's, he's slighting all the blacks who eat there, and by being against Taco Bell, he's slighting all the Mexicans who enjoy haute cuisine (2/3 of all patrons at San Diego TB's are Mexican).  By being against starches, he's against all Asians.  He is the most schizophrenic of all bigots--the foodie bigot.
