But nah...I traded him once before and I'm not a fan of him this season.
I don't know...now I'm thinking of keeping Wilson. You're right about ERA and WHIP. And he certainly strikes out a bunch of guys and the Giants have shown that they aren't going to give up a chance to give him a multiple out save.

On paper its a great trade. I see why people think i would be crazy not to accept it. Heres the thing. I traded Roy Halladay the best starting pitcher in baseball for Joey Votto so i could have 3 mashers Votto, Cabrera and Gonzalez. If i accept this deal i would go from having Cabrera, Gonzalez, Halladay to Cabrera, Votto, Verlander. You guys picking up what im throwing down? Heyward is a nice player but on my team he doesent fit with Garder, Byrd, Ludwick, Young being better players while having a under-perorming Lind and new player Torres on my bench. 3 OF spots and to many guys. Yes i add Wilson but at the expense of Gonzo. Then everyone is looking at the trade name based and not numbers based. Over the last month..
Verlander: 37 IP, 3W, 28K, 3.13 ERA, .99 WHIP
Gio Gonzalez: 38 IP, 3W, 28K, 3.49 ERA, 1.24 WHIP
Dude is basically the same pitcher right now so break it down Wilson and Heyward for Adrian doesent work for me. A very good trade offer. I see why URISS thinks its a steal for me. Break it down and i just cant do it

I'm about to make some moves that some may find stupid and others may find confusing...but nobody will like. But I'm taking a risk here and going to get myself back into this race...or fall to last. Whatever it is...no need to question what I do because every action will lead to a reaction.

very unlikely....
last week sucked but I still have a pretty solid overall team, I'm out of the race for the mid-season prize and the regular season would be really tough
but as long as I make the playoffs, I have a huge edge in the playoffs

ManRam Give me a day to think about it the trade. I like it but I didn't know how close Rollins was to coming back. Also, I'd want Zumaya to come back to me instead of you dropping him.
