And this trade isn't exactly Gio for Verlander. I could see a problem with that. But I think that it's a fair trade for ME because it helps MY needs. Yes...it helps ManRam's too...but that's what trades are supposed to do. Help both teams. My offense blows and I need players to fill catagorieS. if I lose ONE catagory to get MULTIPLE ones...than that's what I have to do.

I lose Verlander...but I love my pitching staff. I get K's from Scherzer, Morrow and Silva. I have players on teams who can always find a way to win for whoever I have starting. I've made mistakes in the past by picking up Wandy and Tillman. No matter how well they pitch, they could still lose because their team sucks. The A's are not the worst team I have a starter for and that's not an awful thing, especially when he pitches at home.

Span, Andrus, Gonzalez, Zumaya

For Wilson, Verlander, Lidge

I get where you are coming from. Think about it though Span and Andrus and getting him steals, runs and avg which he wanted while ditching saves.

Span for Lidge. Andrus for Wilson. I really dont see it being horrible one sided.

Gonzalez and Zumaya for Verlander. Ya i am getting the better SP back and Zumaya means nothing to me but look at the stats man. Gonzalez and Verlander are almost identical.

My suggestion would be to come on here and talk trades more. He had the same guys available to everyone else. Its not my fault i have talked hours with him to find something we both like. If he thinks ditching saves in favor for steals, runs and avg then so be it.

Everyone on my team is available aside for Morneau. If anybody cares to shoot an offer my way...we can discuss.

Well Sparky knows his shit and knows ALOT about baseball, which is why I'm socked more by the last 2 trades...  But whatever its just my opinion... doesn't mean I'm right....

I have never been in a fantasy league where someone won with - out any closers.. Which is why I never traded K ROD in the bginning of the year , rather I traded others to get closers

I guess I can't say "everyone" because the only 2 here are ManRam and URISS. Powerade seems to have drifted away and phillyfan has been gone for the night.

I duno man I think Pettitte is the best pitcher in the AL... he pitche sin the AL East has 8 wins , has only given more than 2 runs in a start twice hans an ERA under 2.5 a wHIP under1.1....  CY young type numbers if you ask me... and he only get better 2nd half

I like Morneau but not that much

Close. Just turned 38 today.

I like Ludwick so much more now but not enough for Morneau. And I've expressed my most recent thoughts on Byrd.

I loved Byrd and didn't want anything to do with Ludwick. Now it's in reverse.

Damnit...you hit it right on the nose. I'm WORSE than a PMS chick.
