sparky:  me and my 5 year old are going to RAW on june 28th at the wachovia center here in philly,  soon to be called "wells fargo center" in a day or 2..

we've been to two events already in the past 1.5 years, he loves it !

Nice pickup with Torres. They've used him a lot more lately.

I have no choice. I need to get to 6th place for a shot at ANYTHING. I'd be super pissed if I don't come out with anything. I know everyone would be but still.

And yea...I used to go every time it was at MSG or Nassau Coliseum. I remember going to the first ever "Elimination Chamber" match and I saw Kane get unmasked in another event. It used to be very entertaining and just falled off. But the PG raitings now is to attract people from your son's age to young teens more than the older crowd. But it's just a crowd pleaser for kids. All in good fun. Hope you 2 enjoy yourselves.

 

 

PS...the NXT rookies just tried to kill Bret Hart. That's not exactly "PG".

Yea. I would have taken Torres if he played for a team who would drive him in. I love getting Span though.

Well it's going to even out because before we go to bed...ManRam and I are going to be making another trade here. I'm hell bent on it. And that will give him Wilson to give him saves.

I saw video of them showing the foul pole on a close up and it was moving. I didn't think much about it because the volume was off and I had no interest in the game. But now I know why.

No quake stopped any play though.

Yea...it was right after a play where a Padre grounded out. They were showing Overbay looking around and the cameras were shaking.

Sparky I can't believe you just threw away Lidge for Span... Are you  serious bro.. He is a .270 hitter with 13 steals  ... Big deal you can pick up Bourne but instead you give away a top closer to the team who is in first place, and all MANRAM needs is closers....  He just picked up Torres who is better than Span and got Lidge... We mihgt as well hand ManRam this fantasy league

You absolutely are throwing away the saves category...  I didn't go on a winning streak until I added closers to my roster and that is a fact  Thats one of ManRams weakness the saves category and now he just got Lidge for a bag of popcorn

But Bourn won't score anywhere near as much as Span. Neither will Torres.

Here's the thing...I don't care who I'm helping. If I don't do anything to help myself, I won't be around come playoff time. I need all the offense I can get. I rather get steals and runs scored (2 catagories) than saves (1 catagory).

And it's just the start. I'm in clearence mode. I need to make changes to help myself.

Only 3 teams have started off a season worse than the 2010 Orioles.

I won't even get into the fact that Spans numbers this year will be his worst because of the new stadium they are in

Dude a closer gives you more than Saves... He increases K's and if he is good lowers WHIP and ERA...  I would have gave you Figgins if I would have know you would have gave me Lidge in return

Come on man. I've been asking about Figgins since the day you picked him up. You never told me your needs or who you were interested in.

But Span will still give me more runs than Figgins.
