Based on the juice makes sense to put more on the full game. On the other hand if you're betting the under, the 1st half is a better value.  

UNDER 66 game -110   &   UNDER 33 1st half -105

 

As if on cue the game spread went back to +4 -110 right as I was placing my wager! UGGGGHHHH!!!!!!

All late money coming in on Tech, but is that smart money coming in, or 'retards that just noticed there's a day game' money coming in.

Yes, Nebraska is not an offensive juggernaut like Tech, Mizzou, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Texas.

Nebraska is more balanced..is that okay that I think that?

I've been on Tech all week, loved them at -3.5, loved them at -4, but now I find myself hating them at -4.5

What was the quote from Private Joker in Full Metal Jacket:

Ugh.  This game is screaming for me to stay away.....but I can't.

Let's all be honest here and admit Tech does not rely on their DEF to win games...When you slow down their offense they struggle and when they get down they start making errors and those errors lead to turnovers that lead to points.

WOW..just got my numbers..... Tech -5 and 67.  Ole Miss +5 for me..will have to put them in a teaser at +11 also. Maybe with KY +9.5 or Utah +16.

Fpronk I agree.  Techs coach has made a conscious effort to run the ball saying their run game is better this year, which it has been.  Ole Miss is stout against the run and only 15 yards a game in the last 3....now it does include a throw away in Monroe-LA or something like that but it did include LSU.  tech will be throwing a ton which we all know but once that isnt working against the speed of the SEC Defenses they will try to run more which will not work either.  This game has under written all over it and I think that defense prevails (tech has none)

This makes no sense, the line for Tech is going up -3.5, -4, -4.5, now maybe even -5.

But the 1st half line has gone from -3 to -3 w/ -105 juice, looking like it is heading toward -2.5 (which won't happen)

But I thought the thinking was, Tech might come out rusty due to the layoff?  No?

I will take Texas Tech, ole miss cant keep up with Tech. Ole miss score over 40 points twice this year. If you think beating LSU at LSU is a big win your nuts what did LSU do this year?????

so a balance offense(nebraska) can play and win against good defenses(clemson) but a offensive juggernauts (tech, oklahoma, texas) cant against teams like ole miss?

I agree, I think this game goes under.....and I get the feeling we'll know by halftime if we were right, or REALLY wrong.

Remember Joe Public is logging onto his computer right about now and is going to bet Texas Tech and the OVER. Both lines will move...TOTAL will probably get up to 67 or 67.5 and line will move to Ole Miss +5 by kick off.

Was looking both TT Ole Miss season schedules.  TT put up monster off. numbers.  Ole Miss had troubles during some games, South Carolina.  Seeing how Iowa handle SC def yesterday, and the BIG TEN IS WEAK!!!!!  This is why I am leaning TT also.  Should be points put early and often. 

Texas Tech was shutdown only by Oklahoma, but I believe was only to due Oklahoma knew TT off. 

Good to all wagers.  This is the most split dicussion thread I read.  Everyone is making valid thought here.
