I posted this in the Missouri/Northwestern thread and the same applies to this game. You can actually replace Mizzou with Tech and 31 points with 35.
"Mizzou will not cover this game because their DEF blows and give up nearly 28 points a game...and I point to one team when making my final descision in making this play. Baylor...who held Mizzou to 31 pts this year while being allowed to score 28 points themselves. This game will have a similiar final score."
Baylor was actually beating Texas Tech till two 4th Qtr TD's and Tech ended up winning by 7. This game was played at Texas Tech so I don't want to hear about Graham Harrell playing in Dallas and that's going to make a difference.
This game will play UNDER the TOTAL and Tech may not even win. The BIG 12 does not do well in situations where a team has a good DEF.
Good Luck!
Fpronk.....just wanted to let you know that Harrell smashed/fractured 3 fingers in 9 places during Baylor game....At half had them taped together and went out to bring Tech back against a dangerous Bayler offense with Robt Griffith.....I can only imagine how painful that injury was......If you're gonna judge Tech by the Baylor game then you have to admit it was a gutzy as hell performance by Harrell.....Plus Tech dominated Texas....Yes dominated...It wasn't just a last second victory...

Yes, really....so youre saying a team that scores 7-8 times a games scores in a hurry? Look to Florida or USC if you want to talk about a team with an explosive offense and an excellent DEF. I'm sure you're all over OKLAHOMA vs FLORIDA too.

I don't know if Fpronk is a genius but I have gotten a lot of good information about him and I thnk he truly is trying to help people win money as I am sure you are as well. We will be on different sides at times but I like reading both of your threads so let's allow each other some breathing room.
By the way, two turnovers for Miss does not look good!
