I've come to realize over the years that people who call others inbreds or white trash are mainly those who are insecure about their economic/social standing. This appears to be the case.

Maybe people rally around the SEC because they r a fan of the SEC, or because the SEC proves year in and year out that on the field, they get it done. And why do you people care if they become/are fans of the SEC? It's good football to watch. Is it wrong to want to see good football?
The SEC is clearly the best we have in the country for the past decade. Now I was born in the north east and live in Texas, but I want to see the SEC play. Why? Because its football done the right way. They play solid D, they tackle correctly, they r just physically and fundamentally better then most. Is it not enjoyable to watch a good fundamentally sound team that beats teams at every aspect of the game from coaching on down to kicking?
Maybe that isn't the way to the "normal" fan, but to people who really understand sports, I want to see the best of the best and I will root for the best because it is great to see it done the right way. Saban is the best and I respect the hell out of that Alabama team more then any other team in the country

Do you really believe an NCAA Tournament format is feasible for determining a football champion? Football requires much more time due to the physical toll the game takes on the players as well as the time to prepare for highly complex schemes. The new play-in format should be great for the game.
Football is America's pass time. You need to accept this fact instead of walking around bitter about nobody coming to watch you play your non-contact sport in high school.
