I don’t think the question is so much how Bama’s offense will do against Notre Dame’s defense as much as it is how Notre Dame’s offense will do against Bama’s defense.

I think Bama’s offense will score enough to win.  I don’t see the same thing happening with Notre Dame’s offense.

Good luck to you as well.

Strange then how you spend so much time posting on a board for a non-sport.

It doesn’t matter if they keep the current format or go to a 16 team playoff.  You’ll still be making excuses as long as the SEC continues to dominate.  However, once they stop dominating suddenly the games will start being legit.

    Bottom line winning is winning.

So when the bottom half of the SEC struggles against some teams from the Sun Belt they get trashed, but when Notre Dame (the supposed #1 team in the country) beats Purdue, BYU, and Pittsburgh by 3 points at home they get a pass because “winning is winning"?

The problem isnt the SEC (its ESPN) and the system, its all subjective!!!! Play real non-conference games and then we can talk

How is the SEC doing against the little ten (without even their top 2....Ohio st and Penn st??)

This year - 3 One loss teams...not a breathe of who should be in

Last year - about the same situation ESPN analysts talked themselves blue in the face about how deserved the SEC is!!

    ALSO:

-Saban and Emmert Were at LSU Together

    -Emmert is now NCAA President

    -Alabama doesn’t get investigated

-Alabama players have a saying WDE (We Deny Everything)Alabama fans and Boosters have a “from the south” “good ole boy” mentality

-Miss st coach admits to seeing a booster give him Money

    -Cam Newton

Need i say more??? Your cheating, winning, and ESPN is su cking you off...wouldnt you be pissed of SEC was 2nd or 3rdbilling to Big 12 or PAC 12??

They should have at least discussed

KSU - one (road) loss, B12 Champ

Bama- One (home) loss, SEC Champ

    Oregon- One Loss

    ND- Undefeated

Not SEC champ wins and their in and run it on the ESPN TICKER for 2 weeks!!!!

You brought up the concept of an SEC All Conference team playing Notre Dame.  I was simply stating my opinion that such a team could probably beat some NFL teams.  And the only thing dumb is to speak with absolute certainty about something we couldn’t possibly know for sure.

    six team playoff

    game 2        Georgia vs Oregon

winner of game 1 would play would Alabama
winner of game 2 would play Florida

    The trophy would mean something.

Already the top echelon SEC teams have failed. LSU and Florida were hyped up by ESPN all season (and pre-season) as "BCS contenders." and I cannot count honestly how many "scenarios" they painted up with Florida "more deserving than Kansas St and Oregon" to play fpr the NCshould #1 ND lose to USC). They actually were oblivious to the fact that the LSU vs Alabama NC of 2012 was a farce and one of the lowest ranked tv audiences ever.

So now I suppose Louisville with all those frshmen and sophomores (only 7 seniors) that beat up on "the BCS contender should ND fail vs USC", uh, we'll we see them ranked preseason higher than Florida ? Not if ESPN pundieteers can have a say ini it.

Seems to most of us that Louisville and Clemson were very beatable teams--a lot of programs couold have their way with them. How on Earth did they embarrass the darlings of the SEC that "if they were'nt in the SEC, they'd probably be undefeated."?.

If ND pulls off the stunner, then we can honestly conclude that the SEC, ESPN and BCS (all connected politically and financially==ESPN the chair of the BCS) have duped us all for too long on in the NON-playoff years, and contributed substantially to the 6 year run of national titles through rankings manipulation, politiking of pollsters and public perceptions, scheduling controls that forbid games outside os geographical boundaires (west of the Miss and north of the Mason - Dixon), Bowl game selecting of certain teams that ESPN (as chair of major bowls that are tied in w/ the the SEC) approved of to play in southern located bowls to  maintain the perception of superiority (ie, lowly Big Ten teams with major problems defensively to compete w/ SEC teams--ie, Nebraska).

Fans of football-unsavvy minnion to be duped and ultimately exploited

football players=just pawns in the game ("lil bastrds should just be grateful they have scholarships and just stfu, and enjoy the ride if they play in the SEC--just let us take care of business and orchestrate the rankings and bowl games"

How can you say Clemson embarrassed LSU. They led for 0 seconds the entire game. If Les Miles were any kind of a coach, they would have won that game. No excuse for FL. As an SEC homer and Gator alum, I am not going to say they were not up for the game. They were just outplayed by Louisville last night. Im sure if they played again you would take Louisville ML, right??

Everyone talks about SEC should play the PAC 12 and Big 12. If I am not mistaken, the last 5 national championship games included 3 teams from those conferences (OK, Texas, Oregon). One thing in common, they all lost to SEC foes. Until another team beats an SEC school in the NC, how can you not say that they are the best conference. The NFL is littered with first round picks from the SEC.

Yes, the SEC’s dominance has absolutely nothing to do with players and coaches.  It has everything to do with the SEC paying people off.

The SEC was 6-3 this bowl season and just won their 7th straight BCS Championship.

They actually were oblivious to the fact that the LSU vs Alabama NC of 2012 was a farce and one of the lowest ranked tv audiences ever.
