Well said Wahoo,,,,, and who in gods name would retire from bookmaking, it is without a doubt one of the best business you can get into,,, the big bookmakers pay their agents 40% ,, so do the math, they are making so much they can afford to py 40%. Who would retire from pocking up cash every week

Here's is why a lot of you is quick to judge. Sometimes there's strategy involved and most noobies wont see it. I expected this line to drop. Here's an example of a play that can be middled if BYU wins by 5-6 points. I won't disclose how much you should bet it because everyone has a different bankroll. Either you juice out or win both bets in a long shot. Or you can have a safety net.
Example of a bet
$100 on CIN+6.5
$50 on BYU-4
Or
$100 on CIN+6.5
$200 on BYU-4
Or bet it evenly and take the juice if it doesn't middle.
That ATL game in NFL wasn't a "public" play. Percentage don't move line. If you can see how much money is being place on teams then you have an edge. It's a money system. Did I lose? Somewhat. It's not like Ina go bankrupt on it. I can live to take bets and bet another day. Doesn't phase me.

If your not a bookie then you don't understand the stress that's involved. It's not an easy business to get into and not everyone can do it. That's why there are more bettors then any sportsbook. 40% pay on collected lost is probably what's he's paying his guy. If your book lost for the week your not making commission. Everyone operates their business differently. If that's what makes them successful then it's all good.
I pay my guys 10% on TOTAL amount. So if he can bring in $1000 in total bets, his commish is $100. Even if I have to pull out of pocket money, I still pay the commish. Not everyday books profit. It's usually by the end of season. Depending on how you want to operate your business that's on you. If you can afford to pay them 40% then that's coo duos to you.
What I mean by retired is I'm no longer in operating services. I'm not as hardcore betting or taking bets anymore. I have a network of bookies and we share info also. Inside info like who was the mush on or who's the guy that has high % win on a large bet etc.. I'm not claiming to be the best. Just figure you guys would appreciate some prospective from the other side of things. Good luck

Every year jagoffs flood the forums claiming to be former bookie gangsters to the likes of what we see in mafia movies. The kind that walk into pool halls with their burgundy leather jackets and take everyone's money while tipping the gangster bar owner and bringing one of their skimpy h0e waitresses to the backroom for a quickie. The kind that everyone respects and fears. Partly because of potential violence, partly because they don't want their old ladies to find out about their degenerate gambling habits and partly out of hope to one day score the big parlay on the "godfather".
The former bookie gangster will have some sort of story about how a deadbeat gambling met owed him 6 large that he couldn't come up with so he took mercy on him and decided not to get violent because the wife of the deadbeat agreed to show her b00bs or give him a hand job.
The reality is said Covers poster is nothing more than a college drop out (which his daddy paid for) and living in his mum's basement because he lost all his money and maxed out daddy's credit cards gambling online. He has no carrier or ambition and dreams of never working in his life. His life ambition includes two options: Mooch off parents, or win at gambling. Good chance he's a virgin too.
