Insights are just propaganda for justifying picks. How many years booking did it take before you got to the "badass" status?
As far as write ups go, I do believe that many times they are more for the benefit of the writer, and not the reader. That is, sometimes it's a matter of someone trying to justify their own pick that is already made. You can pull numbers and trends to back just about any pick, really. Not always the case, but many times at least. Anyway, unless you just randomly threw a dart at today's card and hit Cincy, there must have been some sort of thought process involved, I think that's what some people are curious about.

Talk about pure jargon! There are some games where a particular individual can share some detailed insight with the forum readers. A good example is when he is a hometown fan who specializes in a particular smaller conference and chooses to share some of his expertise. It's very tough to know and watch all college games. An astute reader will know when he reads a intelligent, insightful review of a particular game. Information is power- I can't know everything about every team. BTW- nice call on Atlanta!!

P.S. Even thought I already liked U of Houston tonight I just read a review of the game from a student that goes to Tulane. He made some good points that I didn't know. Example; I was unaware the school is currently on a break and most of the students aren't going to be there tonight. I also didn't know the QB has a concussion. As I said; I already liked Houston, but INFORMATION IS POWER!! Good luck to all tonight.

One little tidbit. The first year coach at UNLV (Sanchez) coached Bishop Gorman High School last year. They were (Gorman) featured on ESPN's Snoop dog and his kid's recruitment short series; forgot the show's name. Anyway, Bishop Gorman is located in Las Vegas and they won the mythical National High School Championship according to the USA Today. The UNLV program is showing improvement and the locals are pleased and optimistic about the future. They have quite a ways to go, but thought it was worth mentioning.....
