... than LSU.  c'mon now, i know that special teams are part of the game, but 'bama really was in control for most of that game, and if it wasn't for their TERRIBLE kickers. the game would not have even been close.  i really hope they play again for the NC if Boise or Stanf get screwed by the voters.

Everybody talking terrible kickers and it wasd really terrible coaching not to punt.Those were not fn chipshot field goals that were missed.50.52,and 53 or some shit like that.Most college kickers miss from that distance.

true.. those FGs were pretty long for those 2 kickers so i guess really then it's a combination of bad kickers and bad coaching decisions... good point.

I understand what you're saying but its all in the game a win is a win, Saban got away from the run game and Richardson was on the sidelines to much, Saban tried to make a passing game out of it way to much when LSU was not stoping the run in the 1st half.

LSU bunkled down on the run the second half, Miles made the right adjustment at half and Saban didn't...

Saban fucked this one up big time, and i hope his ass in lying in bed looking at the damn ceiling saying i fucked this up.

Kicking field goals from midfield and depending on his defense to stop LSU all game was not a good game plan. THAT MF.

Anyway we can't take away from the fact a win is a win.

I know damn well Alabama would have taking a win the same way...shit happens.

Calling them missed field goals is a bit misleading.  Saban was lucky that didnt bite him in the ass more than it did.  Why not pin LSU deep, especially early?  Make them drive out of their own endzone?  Strange calls, and to do it three times?

im sure saban had his kickers practicing all week long on long foeld goals. there is a huge difference when 60k people are cheering and a 6-5 350lb defensive lineman is coming through to get you. it's a mans game and alabama was not the team everyone thought they were.LSU money line was good for me.

Here comes the "woulda, coulda, shoulda's". LSU was the better team that night, the fact that they came into Tuscaloosa and beat Alabama during the night is unbelievable.

i think saban knew pts would be at a premium and wanted to get any at any chance... he should know his kickers' limitations though.

you can't lose at home and expect to get another shot on a neutral field even if Stanford and Okie State lose..

No reason a team should play for the NT when they don't win its conference, let alone its own Division..

unless, IMO, team that beats them in that conference is the #1 team in the nation and barely beats them.

LSU was more fit for that fight and it showed in the end. They have better specialty players and made incredible plays when it mattered most

LSU is clear cut BEST team in the land...Im not sure if Alabama could beat OSU, OU, Stanford, or Oregon.

There offense looked horrendous. WV and Oregon put up plenty of points and yards on LSU...Alabama at home...No so much

Also dont get me started on UA's defense...on paper they are #1 but just go and look at the offenses they've played this year. I want do all the work for you people but you will be amazed at what you find

LSU is ranked #3 and will move up to #2 and have played 2 tremendous offenses this year...they have the best defense in the country bar none

Loser State Universtiy may not play for the BCS title but Bama now will and not have to play an extra game to do it in. Love it that the rest of the nation is still going to be shut out of another nat'l title.SEC rules and now I can say that since my team T A&M is now  a member!!!!!!!

 

BTW,Bama obviosuly the better team and will prove it in Mid Jan.TOO BAD to the rest of the country,Loser State U ,included but Bama will be your nxt NC and you read it here first!!!
