In August 2025 we got the news we never knew we needed: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” And this year, we just might get to see it happen, because prediction markets are pointing to a 2026 wedding for none other than Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

Key Takeaways

  • Price of a 'yes' for a 2026 wedding soars on prediction markets
  • Bettors are predicting everything from the venue to the guest list
  • Is Taylor's 2021 Easter Egg the clue we've been looking for?

Kalshi did have markets for a 2025 wedding, but the price of ‘no’ far surpassed that of a ‘yes’ all year long. However, things have now shifted, leading many to surmise that this will be the year Tay Tay’s years of never-ending heartbreak (and emotionally charged, tell-all albums) come to an end.

Movement in prediction markets from the start of this year shows that confidence in a 2026 wedding is on the rise. Since New Year’s Day, the chance of a yes on Kalshi has risen from 78.5% to a current high of 90%.

If you’re betting on ‘yes’ it doesn’t come cheap, but those who doubt the couple will make it down the aisle before the year is out can take advantage of a competitively priced potential upset. With 12 months still to go, we’ll be keeping an eye out for any sudden movement on this one.

💒 Prediction Markets: It’s a ‘Yes’ to a 2026 wedding for Travis and Taylor

✅ Yes | Probability 90% | Price 90¢

Rumour has it the date of Swift and Kelce’s wedding is set for 2026. According to multiple sources, and the power of the Swifties, the couple will head down the aisle on Saturday, June 13.

Given Swift’s interest in numerology and her well-known fondness for the number 13 (let’s not forget that time she went on New Heights to talk about triskaidekaphilia) it’s a definite possibility. The rumoured date also happens to be her half birthday. We’re not entirely sure whether she celebrates those as a general rule, but her fans absolutely do.

The thing that really leads us to believe that there could be some truth in this, though, is a certain visual breadcrumb from 2021. You see, the video for "I Bet You Think About Me" featured a wedding. And in that wedding was a cake. And on that cake were numbers that could definitely be interpreted as… (drumroll here please) 13 and 26.

Now, we all know the genius of this Easter Egg-loving star knows no bounds so the fact that she appears to have predicted her own wedding date years before she’d even met Kelce is incredibly on brand for her.

We’d be very surprised if she passed up the opportunity to wed on that particular Saturday in June for this reason alone. Wouldn’t you?

❌ No | Probability 11% | Price 11¢

The rumour mill is now in complete overdrive concerning dates, venues and announcements on the wedding party, and with that the price of a ‘no’ for a 2026 wedding has plummeted.

However, if you’ve followed the love life of Miss Swift up to this point, you’ll know it’s been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride. And while we’re definitely hoping she gets her happy ending with the man who got her dreamin' 'bout a driveway with a basketball hoop, there’s still a small chance that things don’t go according to plan.

It’d be an upset in every sense of the word, but it’s not an impossibility.

📍 Where will the couple tie the knot?

Rhode Island is the clear frontrunner in terms of wedding location, whether the pair marry this year or not.

The price of a ‘yes’ for the Ocean State rose sharply following stories that the pair have now booked New England seaside resort Ocean House for their big day.

There’s been no official confirmation from the couple as yet though, so the likes of New York, Tennessee and Ohio remain viable options.

👗 Who will Swift choose as a bridesmaid?

There’ll be famous faces galore at this wedding, but which A-listers will be in the wedding party?

A ‘yes’ for the likes of Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid come at the highest cost as we head into the New Year, but there are a few names on this list that now look like much better bets.

Kylie Kelce, the wife of Jason Kelce, has recently fallen to 48¢. Sources say Kylie and Taylor have become close in recent years, and given the family connection, Taylor’s sister-in-law is a realistic option. The price of Taylor’s best friend Abigail Anderson (Berard) has also dropped to 74¢, from a high of 90¢ on 5 January. She too is one to watch.

🤵 Which of the stars’ friends and family will be groomsmen?

We can safely assume that Travis will choose his brother (and former Philadelphia Eagles star) Jason as one of his groomsmen; the price of a ‘yes’ for him hasn’t dropped below 82¢ since last September.

Other probable (but costly) options include Kelce’s childhood friends Aric Jones and Kumar Ferguson, who was hired as the player’s private chef last year.

Will Travis choose any of his Kansas City Chiefs teammates to support him on his big day? Patrick Mahomes is the top contender here, though his price hasn’t strayed far from 80¢ since the start of this year. A ‘yes’ for Harrison Butker is just 10¢, but given his views he’s an unlikely candidate.

💌 Which famous faces are on the guest list?

Travis and Taylor both have their fair share of celebrity friends, many of whom will be eagerly awaiting an invite to what’s set to be one of the most spectacular ceremonies ever seen.

Kalshi now has prices for a handful of potential attendees, with Jack Antonoff and Selena Gomez currently topping the list. We can’t see the wedding going ahead without either of them in attendance, but there’s little to be made on these picks.

Better value options include Phoebe Bridgers, who is now priced at just 60¢. That’s surprisingly low given her friendship and professional relationship with Swift.
