With plenty of the PGA Tour's best players using the lull between majors to get some summer rest in, this year's Rocket Mortgage Classic field isn't exactly the deepest.

But one of the game's best, and certainly biggest-trending names has plenty of motivation this week and finds himself as the pre-tournament favorite.

Here are the in-play PGA Tour odds to win the Rocket Mortgage Classic, July 1-4 at Detroit Golf Club.

Rocket Mortgage Classic favorites

Defending champion Bryson DeChambeau is again favored heading into the Rocket Mortgage Classic at +850. DeChambeau is still looking to redeem himself after his meltdown at the U.S. Open, and will at least have a confident history with the course, and no Brooks Koepka in the field.

Patrick Reed finds himself with the second-best odds at +1,200. Through what's been an up-and-down season, the OWGR No. 9 has still managed a victory and six Top-10 finishes.

Webb Simpson is tied for third on the odds board at +1,600. Simpson has cooled off a bit in 2021 after a dominant summer of 2020 saw him peak as the World's fourth-ranked golfer. He has only one Top-5 finish on the season and has missed cuts in two of his past five events.

Masters champ Hideki Matsuyama is knotted with Simpson at +1,600. Despite winning the ultra-coveted Green Jacket, Matsuyama hasn't exactly lived up to expectations in the three months since, playing just four events and failing to post a Top-20 finish in any of them.

And Chilean Joaquin Niemann rounds out the Top 5 at +2,000. At just 22, Niemann has already bagged a PGA victory and has a pair of runner-up finishes this season in lighter-field tournaments, while missing the cut just once in twenty events.

Where is the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic played?

The Rocket Mortgage Classic is played at the Detroit Golf Club in Michigan. While this is only the third year of the event, the club was established in 1899. There are two courses at the club, with the North Course used for the majority of this tournament, with the exception being hole No. 3, which takes place on the South Course.

The course is 7,334 yards and is a par 72. The fairways are bluegrass and the greens bermudagrass and, according to Shotlink data, it is the flattest course on the PGA Tour.

Who won the 2020 Rocket Mortgage Classic?

Bryson DeChambeau won last year's event, storming back on Sunday to vault past Round 3 leader Matthew Wolff. DeChambeau shot seven-under on the final day to drop him to -23 for the event, good for a three-stroke victory.

What is the Rocket Mortgage Classic payout in 2021?

The total purse for the Rocket Mortgage Classic is $7.5 million in 2021. The winner's share of 18 percent will amount to $1.35 million.

How To Bet On PGA Tour Odds

The most popular way to bet on golf is by simply picking the winner, which is also referred to as outright. There are plenty of other ways to wager, however. Some of the more popular markets include head-to-head betting, where sportsbooks pair up two golfers and you simply choose who you think will have the lower score over the course of the weekend or for one round only.

There are also 3-way betting markets (choose the best golfer among three choices) and group betting (choose the best golfer amongst a group of players).

Other ways to wager include Top-5/Top-10/Top-20 finish, top golfer by nationality, to make the cut/to not make the cut, and the leader after each round. Then, of course, there's the popular prop bet of whether or not there will be a hole-in-one at the tournament.

Where can I bet on PGA Tour Golf Odds?
