There are six games on Thursday’s NBA card headlined by a Thunder versus Pacers matchup while the Kings try to continue their success against the spread as they take on Kyrie Irving and the Celtics.  We bring you the must-read betting notes from around the Association to help you make the best wagers.

Trending towards the Over

The Thunder and Pacers have split their most recent 10 games. Despite having solid defenses, when these two teams meet up the Over has hit in 17 of the most recent 25 games overall, and 12 of 15 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The Thunder are playing on the tail end of a back-to-back after a nice come from behind victory versus the Nets. The Thunder are capable of putting up big numbers averaging 115.1 a game, and the Pacers are one of the most efficient shooting teams averaging 47.6 percent from the floor. Back the game total Over 218.

Sexton streaking

The Magic are 8.5-point home favorites versus the Cavaliers despite being held to 90 and 97 points over their last two games. They are averaging 40.9 percent shooting throughout their recent three game stretch.

The Cavaliers’ Collin Sexton has shot well above 55 percent over his most recent three games and has logged no less than 26 points. He has made at least three shots from beyond the arc over the past three games and should be able to continue his hot shooting versus a Magic squad surrendering 22.4 points to opposing point guards. Back Over Sexton’s point total of 17.5.

Will the real Kyrie Irving please stand up?

The Kings have struggled playing at TD Garden losing their most recent five straight, however this season’s Kings team are capable of putting up points averaging 113.7.

Today is a great game to back the Celtics’ Kyrie Irving. He is up against a Kings team allowing an average of 24.4 points, 6.7 boards, and 8.7 dimes to opposing point guards. Although his scoring production has slowed recently, he is still averaging 23.4 a game and has logged 13 games scoring 30 or more points. Back Over his points total today of 23.5.

Filling the void

The Raptors are 9-point favorites as they host the Lakers in the highest game total of the night set at 231.5. Toronto have won 27 of 35 home games and have faired well versus the Lakers winning the last five straight.

With the Raptors’ Serge Ibaka serving a three-game suspension, expect Marc Gasol to step up versus a Lakers team struggling to defend opposing centers allowing 26 points on 53.4 percent shooting, and 17.2 boards. Look for Gasol to have one of his biggest games as a Raptor and back Over his points, rebounds, assists total Over 28.5.

Taking advantage of a lowly Mavs squad

The Nuggets are big favorites versus a Mavs team with only one win over their most recent 10. Denver hope to improve on their Western Conference standings and build off a 28-6 home record.

Denver’s Will Barton has been super inconsistent shooting as of late, but he has attempted double digit field goals in eight of the last 10 games. Today he is up against a Mavs defense struggling to defend opposing shooting guards allowing 23.3 points, and 3.0 made 3-point shots a game. Take Over Barton’s points total of 13.5.
