The books are buying into the hype, and so am I. Play to -115.
After beginning the season at just 1-5, Nathan Rourke and the BC Lions have roared back to win six of their last seven, including a five-game streak from July 30 to Aug. 30.
Their only loss was a 37-30 result against the league-best Montreal Alouettes, which they avenged last week with a 48-point performance on offense.
BC has scored 30+ in six of seven games and is averaging 35 during that span, while the Saskatchewan Roughriders just put up a season-low six points in a loss to Winnipeg last week.

Roughriders vs Lions total prediction: Over 62.5
This is a massive line, but one of these teams is averaging five scores a game over the last two months and just put up 48 against the best team in the CFL. Play to -125.
While the Riders have played to the Under in four of their last five, the Lions have played to the Over in three straight, and these teams are a combined 14-12 O/U on the season.
BC is averaging 41 points per game over their last three games while allowing at least 24 points.

I'll happily take a measly -3.5 spread for a team as hot as the Lions, especially against a team coming off a season-worst performance. BC has covered the spread in each of its last four wins, including against Saskatchewan on Aug. 23.
Rourke and the Lions have the capacity to carry this game to the Over without needing much help from Trevor Harris and the Riders, but three or more scores for Sask should be enough for the Over to cash.
