As expected, the WNBA Finals have skewed towards defense so far, but our Valkyries vs Dream player props back two capable scorers to buck that trend in Game 3.

After two defense-first battles, the WNBA Finals are tied heading into tonight's Game 3, with the Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries both looking to get more from their offenses.

Atlanta found a way to break through Golden State's defense on Monday night to even the series, and my Dream vs. Valkyries player props back Angel Reese and Veronica Burton to deliver another scoring boost at State Farm Arena.

My WNBA picks and Valkyries vs. Dream predictions take a closer look at Wednesday's Game 3 matchup, with tip-off set for 8 p.m. ET on Oct. 21 and the Dream entering as 3.5-point favorites.

Angel Reese Over 15.5 points

Angel Reese was the star of Game 2, helping the Atlanta Dream generate efficient looks and a steady stream of free throws through her play in the paint. I'd back this Over up to 52%.

Reese's 10-for-16 shooting was a stark contrast to Atlanta's shaky backcourt numbers, and I expect the Dream to lean on her interior dominance again tonight. That's especially true when Kiah Stokes heads to the bench, leaving the Golden State Valkyries vulnerable to physical play around the basket.

Reese has cashed this Over in four of her last five playoff games, and she's shot at least 50% from the field in eight of her last 12 contests. With Jordin Canada running the offense, I expect Reese to lead the Dream's scoring attack again in Game 3.

Veronica Burton Over 9.5 points

The Golden State Valkyries need a secondary scorer to take some of the pressure and defensive attention off Gabby Williams, and Veronica Burton can fill that role. Scoring isn't typically her primary responsibility, but she finished with 11 points in Game 2 and shot 36% from three-point range during the regular season.

Burton has a slight height advantage over Canada at point guard, and I expect Golden State's adjustments to include a more aggressive approach to attacking the paint.

Burton has also taken on a larger scoring role in key postseason moments, and she dropped 21 points against the Dream back in July. I'd back this Over up to 52%.

Naz Hillmon Over 3.5 rebounds

Look for Naz Hillmon to provide another steady, versatile presence for Atlanta in Game 3. Hillmon has grabbed 4+ rebounds in four of her last five games, even with DeWanna Bonner getting frontcourt minutes off the bench. The Dream were also +14 with Hillmon on the floor Monday night.

With the Valkyries focused on keeping Reese off the glass, Hillmon should have opportunities to grab rebounds of her own. She's also consistently logged 30+ minutes per game during this postseason run, giving her plenty of time to make an impact. Another low-scoring contest could create additional rebounding chances.

I like the slight plus-money price here, but this prop remains playable up to 50%.
