Riding the unstoppable momentum of Angel Reese, the Dream (-3.5) are clicking on all cylinders and won't hit the brakes as they aim to close out the Valkyries in Game 4.

The Atlanta Dream dominated the Golden State Valkyries in Game 3, and they have a chance to seize a commanding 3-1 series lead at home in Game 4.

Angel Reese led all scorers for a second straight game, but her points prop isn’t my best bet for Saturday’s matchup.

Instead, my best bet will focus on the spread, and Reese’s scoring line will be featured in my three-leg parlay.

My WNBA picks & Valkyries vs. Dream prediction for Game 4 also target a Reese rebounds line and another productive playmaking performance from Jordin Canada on Saturday, Oct. 24 at State Farm Arena.

 TOP PICK
Valkyries vs Dream prediction: Dream -3.5

I expect a win of 6-7 points, so I’ll trade this line to -5.5.

The Golden State Valkyries capitalized on ball security, tenacious defense and a barrage of three-pointers in the regular season, but Atlanta has taken away those advantages, and the Dream’s elite defense has been the swing factor thus far.

The Atlanta Dream lead the series in Offensive and Defensive Rating, points, rebounds, assists, steals, TO% and FG%.

Golden State has scored 1.5 fewer points and surrendered 4.8 more ppg in the Finals than it did in the regular season, and its Defensive and Offensive Ratings have fallen by 4.4 and 3.6 points, respectively.

Atlanta’s offense is humming, and the 97 points scored in Game 3 are the second-most surrendered by the Valkyries this season.

Golden State doesn’t have the firepower to keep pace with Atlanta, and the Dream’s stifling defense has neutralized the Valkyries’ biggest advantage.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Golden State took Game 1 with a decisive fourth-quarter comeback, but it’s been all Atlanta for most of the series. The V’s won two of four quarters in Game 1 but only two total quarters between Games 2 and 3. The Valkyries haven’t led once in the series since 9:31 in the third quarter of Game 3.

Valkyries vs Dream combo

Through three games, Angel Reese is the leading scorer and rebounder in the Finals with 21.7 points and 13.3 boards. She’s reached 16+ points in two straight, and she’s corralled 12+ rebounds in all three contests.

Reese has taken her game to the next level in the Finals, but she found success against the Valkyries in three regular-season meetings, averaging 14 points and 12.3 rebounds, scoring 16+ once and grabbing 12+ rebounds thrice.

Golden State’s shooting has regressed significantly to just 39% from the floor and 29.9% from beyond the arc, leading to missed shots and additional rebounding opportunities.

Reese is turning steals and blocks into transition buckets on the other end and attacking the V’s relentlessly by drawing contact and getting to the charity stripe.

Recent production makes these lines valuable, and I’ll trade her points up to 17.5 and rebounds up to 12.5.
