The Chicago Sky seek their second consecutive victory when they visit the Dallas Wings tonight.

Chicago guard Ariel Atkins is heating up, and my Sky vs. Wings predictions expect her to stay hot shooting from downtown.

Read on as I share my WNBA picks for Saturday, May 31.

Sky vs Wings predictions

My Sky vs Wings best bet: Ariel Atkins Over 1.5 threes (+120 at bet365)

The Chicago Sky eked out a 97-92 home victory on Thursday against this same Dallas Wings team, and Ariel Atkins did her part with 17 points as she knocked down a pair of triples — and I'm banking on a repeat effort this evening.

The Sky guard is a career 36% shooter from downtown and currently 42% from beyond the arc this season, and she gets a boost against a Dallas team that boasts the league's second-worst three-point defense (39%).

Add in that Paige Bueckers is out, giving the Wings less length on the perimeter, and Atkins should shine tonight. She also thrives in up-tempo games, and tonight’s clash will be played at a lightning pace. She’s seen 30+ minutes in two straight games and has landed two or more triples in four of her last five outings.

Will Paige Bueckers play tonight?

No, Bueckers will not play tonight after it was announced yesterday that she would miss at least two games while in the league's concussion protocol.

Sky vs Wings same-game parlay (SGP)

Ariel Atkins 2+ threes

Arike Ogunbowale 20+ points

Maddie Siegrist Over 9.5 points

Chicago has allowed 90+ points in every game this season, so in addition to Atkins having another strong game, Arike Ogunbowale should score at least 20+, while Maddie Siegrist and her 10 ppg should get starter minutes.

Ogunbowale scored 37 points against Chicago on Thursday, marking the second time this season she's cleared 20, but again, without Bueckers, she’ll see a spike in usage and should go off again.

Siegrist’s five points and 17 minutes on Thursday were her lowest totals of the season. She averages nearly 10 ppg on 23 minutes because she cuts to the paint, snags offensive rebounds, and shoots 31% from downtown. I'm expecting more of a return to her norm tonight.
