The Atlanta Dream and New York Liberty face off in their respective season finales as both teams look to improve their playoff positions. A win for Atlanta clinches the No. 4 seed, and the Liberty can move up to the No. 7 seed with a win.
Angel Reese is on a tear, and my WNBA picks & Dream vs. Liberty prediction expect her to wrap up a record-setting season in style.
Read on to see why I’m picking the Dream to win in a low-scoring victory as Reese delivers another strong double-double.
TOP PICK
Dream vs Liberty prediction: Angel Reese Over 14.5 points
Angel Reese is making her case for DPOY, but she’s also enjoying the best offensive season of her career, averaging 16.6 ppg. She’s scored 15+ in 28 of 42 games, good for 67%.
Over her last 10 appearances, Reese has averaged 20 ppg, scoring 15+ nine times, including each of her last five. She posted 18 and 23 points in two matchups with the New York Liberty this season.
Reese leads the W in second-chance points (4.3) and ranks sixth in PITP (11.2). With Breanna Stewart a late addition to the injury report, Reese should enjoy a more favorable defensive matchup against a Liberty team that owns a 109.8 Defensive Rating in 14 games without Stewart since last season.
Play to 17.5.

Dream vs Liberty combo
Breanna Stewart’s late addition to the injury report suggests she won’t take the court tonight, and the Liberty may choose to limit the workload of its other players, especially if the Atlanta Dream jump out to an early lead.
The Liberty can improve their playoff positioning marginally, but Atlanta can move up to No. 4 and guarantee they’ll host at least one playoff series. The Dream have more to play for and should be more highly motivated, which makes me lean Atlanta as the outright winner.
New York’s offense simply isn’t the same without Breanna Stewart on the court, and her absence tonight coupled with Atlanta’s strong defense will depress the team’s scoring total.
Since last season, the Liberty’s scoring average has dropped from 88.2 to 82.1 ppg with Stewie sidelined, and the team’s Offensive Rating has fallen from 110.7 to 105.9.
Play to 173.5.

Dream vs Liberty player prop: Angel Reese 11.5 rebounds
Reese leads the WNBA in rebounds at 12.3 per game, and she’s corralled at least 12 boards in 23 of 42 appearances. That includes 14 of 21 road games in which she’s averaged 13.1 rebounds.
Reese has grabbed 12 rebounds only twice in nine tries against the Liberty, though she’s fared better with Stewart sidelined. In seven games against Stewart, Reese has averaged 10.1 rebounds, but in two games against the Liberty with Stewie sidelined, her rebound average jumps to 13.
With Stewart, the Liberty have surrendered only 32.6 rebounds per game since 2025, but with her out, that number balloons to 37.8.
This could be a legacy game for Reese as she can lead her team to a Top 4 seed and cement her case for Defensive Player of the Year with another strong outing. Play to 12.5.
