Breanna Stewart’s late addition to the injury report suggests she won’t take the court tonight, and the Liberty may choose to limit the workload of its other players, especially if Atlanta jumps out to an early lead.
The Liberty can improve their playoff positioning marginally, but Atlanta can move up to No. 4 and guarantee they’ll host at least one playoff series. The Dream have more to play for and should be more highly motivated, which makes me lean Atlanta as the outright winner.
New York’s offense simply isn’t the same without Breanna Stewart on the court, and her absence tonight coupled with Atlanta’s strong defense will depress the team’s scoring total. Since last season, the Liberty’s scoring average has dropped from 88.2 to 82.1 ppg with Stewie sidelined.
Angel Reese is making her case for DPOY, but she’s also enjoying the best offensive season of her career, averaging 16.6 ppg. She’s scored 15+ in 28 of 42 games, good for 67%.

Wings vs Storm combo

Seattle's scoring woes may have intensified lately, but the Storm have been one of the least productive teams in the WNBA all season, averaging 82.0 ppg.
They also keep opponents in check, holding them to a league-low 32.5% from three. Meanwhile, the Wings have ratcheted up their own defensive effort, holding their last seven opponents to below 90 points. There's enough defense in this game to make the Under a smart play.
I'm rounding out my combo tonight with a bet on Paige Bueckers to score 20+ points. Bueckers is averaging 20.8 ppg for the season and is coming off two games in which she shot the ball at least 19 times and put up 26+ points.
In a game Dallas needs to win, Bueckers will be called on to produce another similar performance.
