Arsenal are showing strength, and they're expected to profit from Bournemouth's lacklustre form, but the Cherries should never be underestimated.

I'm looking at the goals in this game rather than the moneyline.

Read on for my Bournemouth vs. Arsenal predictions and betting picks for January 3.

Premier League predictions for Bournemouth vs Arsenal

My Bournemouth vs Arsenal best bet: Over 3.5 (+155 at Sports Interaction)

Having won just one of their initial 14 Premier League games against Arsenal (losing 11), Bournemouth beat the Gunners both home and away last season.

Bournemouth have lost 12 of their 13 Premier League games against sides starting the day at the top of the table. The exception is a 2-1 home win over Manchester City in November 2024.

Having started the campaign very well, Bournemouth dramatically lost form. They are winless in their last 10 Premier League games (5 draws, 5 losses).

That's their longest ever run without a win within the same top-flight campaign, and Arsenal expect to extend it to 11.

Three of Bournemouth's previous four games ended with 4+ goals, starting with a 4-4 away draw against Man United.

A 4-1 away defeat to Brentford and a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge followed.

Arsenal were in fine form over the festive Premier League games, winning 2-1 against Brighton and 4-1 vs. Aston Villa.

I will take Sports Interaction's solid plus-money odds on the Over 3.5.

Bournemouth vs Arsenal same-game parlay (SGP)

Over 3.5

Double-Chance-Bournemuth of tie

Leandro Trossard 1+ shots on target

Over 3.5 cards

After losing four consecutive home league games between February and April 2025, Bournemouth has lost just two of its last 13. They've only lost once at home this season, going down 1-0 against Everton in December.

Despite their bad run, there's still quality in this side, and I'll include the double chance favouring them in my parlay.

Leandro Trossard has the most assists (four) and joint-most goals (five) of any Arsenal player in the Premier League this season. The Belgian both scored and assisted against Aston Villa in the last match Arsenal played, so I'll not leave him out of my parlay.

To round up a +1,400 return, I'm including cards. Bournemouth have the third-highest card average in the Premier League this season - 2.26. Arsenal are at 1.37.
