Winnipeg may allow the fewest passing yards of any team, but Trevor Harris still torched them for 362 yards through the air not even a week ago.

The Riders have allowed just 843 rushing yards this season and held the Bombers' top offensive threat in Brady Oliveira to a season-low 28 rushing yards on Monday.

The Roughriders had played to the Under in four of their previous five games, with the Blue Bombers doing the same in two of their previous three. Winnipeg has also scored the third-fewest points in the league this season.

Zach Collaros has been serviceable this season and had one of his best showings on Monday versus the Riders. However, he'd played to a double-digit QB rating in five of his previous seven starts, and I expect him to come back down to earth.

Given this lopsided matchup between these Albertan teams, I'm more than comfortable backing the Elks to win by at least a few.

Calgary put together a solid offensive showing against a strong defensive team on Tuesday, while imploding on the other side of the ball in typical Stampeders fashion. While the Elks' defensive prowess shouldn't be understated, they fared much better by exposing Calgary's secondary and embracing this matchup as a shootout.

Montreal hasn’t won in Vancouver since 2015, and the Leos rank second in the league in second-down conversion rate, trailing only Saskatchewan. With home-field advantage on their side, expect BC to bounce back from last week’s loss and come out on top in a showcase of the league's two best offences.
