The Montreal Alouettes visit the Toronto Argonauts in the final week of the CFL regular season on Friday, Oct. 23. The Argos are coming off a shocking loss to the previously winless Ottawa Redblacks.

My Alouettes vs. Argonauts predictions back a Toronto team that has been far better at home this season against a Montreal squad that, despite being a Grey Cup favorite in the CFL odds, has struggled to replicate its home success on the road.

Read on for my CFL picks for this Week 21 matchup.

Who will win Alouettes vs Argonauts: Argonauts (+105)

The Toronto Argonauts are coming off a shocking road loss to the Redblacks.

However, they've still won four of five home games this season, compared to an ugly 5-7-0 record on the road. Conversely, the Montreal Alouettes are a perfect 9-0-0 at home but just 4-4-0 on the road.

Montreal won the teams' only meeting this season by a single score. With Dustin Crum likely to start again for the Alouettes now that they've locked up the East Division, I expect the Argos to come through.

Alouettes vs Argonauts total prediction: Under 50.5 (-110)

The Alouettes stayed comfortably Under the total last week in Crum's first start of the season, falling 16-12 to the Saskatchewan Roughriders. It was easily Montreal's lowest-scoring game of the season.

Likely MOP Davis Alexander and his 5,000 passing yards were major factors in the team's 13-3-0 Over/Under record entering last week.

With Crum under center and the Argos sporting a 7-10-0 Over/Under record, including four Unders in their last five games, this matchup has the Under written all over it.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Toronto ranks fifth in the CFL in points scored, while Montreal ranks third in points allowed.

Alouettes vs Argonauts same-game parlay

Four of the Argos' nine wins have come at home, despite playing just five of their 17 games there. That's an .800 home winning percentage compared to a .417 winning percentage on the road. The Alouettes show a similar split, with a perfect home record and a .500 winning percentage away from Montreal.

Further hurting Montreal's chances is the likelihood of Crum making his second straight start as the Grey Cup favorites rest Alexander ahead of their playoff run. The Alouettes managed just 12 points with Crum under center in Week 20, although they still boast one of the CFL's stronger defenses.
