Finland vs Sweden prediction

Finland vs Sweden Best bet: Sweden -1.5 (+145 at BET99)

Finland suffered a shocking 4-1 loss to Slovakia in its Olympic opener as Juuse Saros allowed three goals on 24 shots.

Goaltenders Saros (.892 SV%), Kevin Lankinen (.876 SV%), and Joonas Korpisalo (.893 SV%) have been subpar in the NHL this season, while Sweden should have the edge in net, with Jesper Wallstedt (.914 SV%) most likely getting the start.

Sweden flexed its firepower against Italy in a 5-2 win, with William Nylander and Rasmus Dahlin having standout performances. Their offense will ultimately lift them to another comfortable victory.

Finland vs Sweden same-game parlay

Sweden -1.5

Under 5.5

Sweden and Finland typically produce low-scoring games, with the teams combining for Under 5.5 goals in four of their last six meetings in major tournaments.

The Swedes have also won four of those matchups, and I expect that trend to continue on Friday, as their offense and goaltending should make the difference.
