The biggest story in Olympic hockey is 19-year-old Macklin Celebrini, who leads the tournament in goals heading into the gold-medal game against Team USA. His chemistry with Connor McDavid is a key reason Team Canada enters as the betting favorite.
Celebrini will continue to see heavy minutes and quality scoring chances alongside McDavid, making him the top Canadian to back for a goal.

Canada's Best Price: Macklin Celebrini (+160)
This anytime goal scorer pick has been BOOSTED BY BET99 — making it the best price available in Canada!
This is the best value we’ve seen on Macklin Celebrini since the tournament opener. He leads the Olympics with five goals, created nine scoring chances against Finland, and is skating alongside Connor McDavid, who’s performing at an elite level.
Ice time won’t be a concern — no Canadian played more minutes than Celebrini against Finland. Expect 23+ minutes again Sunday, with the puck constantly on his stick. While I’d price him closer to +135/+140, the odds are inflated because the game total is projected under five goals.
This line should see heavy action, and Celebrini could realistically be on the ice nearly every other shift.

Cale Makar (+450)
Defensemen should play a major role in this matchup, with limited space forcing a shoot-from-the-point style. Cale Makar — carrying a heavy workload — is likely to be Canada’s busiest blueliner.
This won’t be a night for highlight-reel goals, making high-priced defensemen appealing in the anytime-goal market. Coach Jon Cooper will likely lean on the top pair of Makar and Devon Toews in what should be a mostly 5-on-5 contest.
With only a handful of defenders projected to log significant minutes, Makar at +450 stands out as great value.
Sam Bennett (+1000)
Here’s a long-shot anytime-goal pick on a player built for this type of game. Sam Bennett skated just over 10 minutes in the last outing, spent four in the box, and still finished +1.
Bennett also played 14 minutes in the 4 Nations final, scoring the second-period tying goal. A potential pairing with Brad Marchand and Tom Wilson could create opportunities on Sunday.
Expect plenty of Canadian line juggling, but Bennett (No. 9) should still see situational ice — and with the whistles likely staying quiet, that’s when he’s at his greasiest around the net.
