Devils vs Golden Knights

  • Time: 6 p.m. ET
  • TV: SN+, NHL Network
  • Analyst: Todd Cordell

Player prop: Jesper Bratt Over 0.5 points

Todd Cordell's Devils vs. Golden Knights predictions back Bratt to get on the scoresheet. His line with Jack Hughes and Arseny Gritsyuk has outscored opponents in expected goals by 1.9 per 60 minutes, while Vegas ranks 28th in penalty-kill goals against. Cordell would play Bratt's point prop up to 59%.

Goal scorer: Jack Hughes anytime goal

Hughes has generated 8.1 expected goals, fifth-most in the NHL, but has scored only four times. Cordell expects his finishing to catch up with his chance creation, especially against projected Vegas starter Adin Hill, and would back Hughes to score at up to 39%.

Jets vs Panthers

Player prop: Sam Bennett Over 2.5 shots

Cordell's Jets vs. Panthers predictions highlight Bennett's increased shooting since moving onto a line with the Tkachuk brothers. His five-on-five shot rate has jumped from 5.29 to 10.49 per 60 minutes over his past eight games. Against a Winnipeg team ranking 24th in shot suppression and playing on consecutive nights, Cordell would play three Bennett shots to 52%.

Goal scorer: Sam Bennett anytime goal

Bennett's expected-goal generation alongside the Tkachuks equates to a 30-goal pace over 84 games. Cordell sees room for better finishing results against a Jets team on the second half of a back-to-back and would play Bennett's anytime-goal prop up to 32%.

Kraken vs Flames

  • Time: 8 p.m. ET
  • TV: SN360, Prime Video
  • Analyst: Todd Cordell

Player prop: Bobby McMann Over 0.5 points

Cordell's Kraken vs. Flames predictions target Seattle's leading shot generator, who plays with Matty Beniers and Jordan Eberle on the top line and first power-play unit. Calgary's top unit has allowed 3.8 expected goals against per 60 minutes at five-on-five, giving McMann a favorable matchup. Cordell would back a point up to 54%.

Goal scorer: Bobby McMann anytime goal

McMann has averaged 3.8 shots on goal in five games against bottom-12 shot-suppression teams. He also has nine shots on 14 attempts in two meetings with Calgary this season. Against a struggling Dustin Wolf, Cordell likes McMann to convert his opportunities and would play him to score at up to 35%.
