Our best NHL player props for Thursday, April 2
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Brock Boeser Over 0.5 points
Brock Boeser and the Vancouver Canucks just shocked the Avalanche on Wednesday evening, beating the Stanley Cup contenders 8-6. The veteran led the way, scoring a hat trick and tallying an assist.
That kept an impressive run going for Boeser, who's logged a point in three straight games, registering six points during that span. He’s collected 22 points in 32 road games, and the Canucks visit the Minnesota Wild tonight.
While he’s yet to grab a point against them this season, Boeser is red hot. I’ll take him to keep the point streak alive.

Prop #2: Connor McDavid anytime goalscorer
Connor McDavid is having another stellar campaign, and he ranks third in the NHL in goals with 43. The three-time Hart Trophy winner has found the back of the net in four consecutive appearances, scoring five times during that span.
The Edmonton Oilers superstar scored in Tuesday’s 3-0 win over the Kraken. The Oilers take on the lowly Chicago Blackhawks tonight, a team allowing 3.24 goals per contest, which ranks 25th.
While McDavid has been strictly a playmaker against them this season (five helpers in two meetings), he’s thriving in front of the net at the moment, and the Hawks have given up 15 goals across their last three games

Prop #3: Macklin Celebrini Over 3.5 shots
Macklin Celebrini’s 2025-26 campaign has solidified his superstar status in the NHL. He’s fourth in the league in points with a mind-boggling 104, and he’s one of the best chance creators as well. He’s averaging 3.52 SOG per game.
Celebrini has gone Over this mark in three straight contests. He had four shots on net on Wednesday against the Ducks and also five on Monday against the Blues. The San Jose Sharks face the struggling Toronto Maple Leafs tonight, and Celebrini notched six SOG against them earlier in the season.
The Leafs are also a league-worst 32.5 SOG per night.
