The wins keep coming as yesterday's Puck Props show netted another 10-plus units, and this article won for a third straight day as the NHL picks keep running hot.
The ruckus could be ripe in Denver, and Artturi Lehkonen is on the card again, while I'm also backing the Pittsburgh Penguins' second line. In the nightcap, I can't escape this profitable Bruins top line.
These are my favorite NHL predictions for Friday, Oct. 16.

Pick #1: Artturi Lehkonen Over 0.5 points
It's another Colorado Avalanche game and another trade on Artturi Lehkonen to record a point at 50% or better. This should be closer to 57%, as the winger is stapled to Nathan MacKinnon at 5-on-5 and has played 20-plus minutes in each of his last three games, recording a goal and an assist.
If you're really looking for Friday's score, he's trading at 3.2x for an assist while playing with a 50-goal scorer on his wing.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are allowing three goals per game and will likely hand things over to Arturs Silovs, who held the Stars to one goal in his last start but surrendered five tallies in back-to-back outings before that.
This game has serious ruckus potential, and the Avs aren't exactly playing shutdown hockey, which could lead to plenty of two-way scoring Friday night in Denver.

Pick #2: Tommy Novak + Egor Chinakhov Over 0.5 points each
I'm doubling up on Pens vs. Avs and attacking the visitors' second line.
Tommy Novak and Egor Chinakhov played the most 5-on-5 minutes of Pittsburgh's forwards last game, and the second line is always a good target on the road, as the home team usually uses its last change to match up against the top line, Sidney Crosby's unit.
Colorado is playing its third game in four nights, and MacKenzie Blackwood hasn't been stout in net, posting an .879 SV% through five games. The Penguins have a better expected goals for/60 than Colorado, and the schedule can only help the visitors get on the board today.
This combo should be priced at 3.5x, and both players' single-point props are also options at 2.4x.

Pick #3: Morgan Geekie + Pavel Zacha Over 0.5 points each
I will ride the Boston Bruins' top line until the wheels fall off.
Since David Pastrnak, Pavel Zacha, and Morgan Geekie reunited on the same line, the trio, all of whom play on PP1, has combined for 14 points and five goals across three games. The Bruins have also outscored their opponents 17-5 over that span.
The Anaheim Ducks are dealing with injuries up front, and Lukas Dostal just gave up three goals to the Flames in his last start. His play over the past two-plus seasons has made him look more like an average NHL goalie.
I'd play this combo to 2.2x, while the double-assist combo at 4.5x is another option for the greedy.
Todd Cordell is eyeing a ton of Pastrnak in tonight's Bruins vs. Ducks predictions, offering correlation to this stack.
