Nazem Kadri has registered at least three shots in 57% of his appearances this season. That number soars following a day of rest, with Kadri’s hit rate jumping to 69% when playing after a day off.
His shot outputs under these circumstances are especially good on the road. Kadri has averaged 4.1 shots on 8.0 attempts through 10 road games after a day off.
Those totals have led to a ton of success in the shot market, with Kadri going Over this total in eight of 10 games.
The two misses came against the Hurricanes and Canadiens, who are holding onto the top two seeds in the Eastern Conference.
The Pittsburgh Penguins haven’t suppressed shots to the level of either of those teams this season. They have also allowed a lot of slot shots, which is where a ton of Kadri’s volume comes from.
