It wasn't the best Wednesday night on the ice, but get ready for a 7 p.m. ET barrage of NHL action tonight, with nine of the 11 games dropping the puck in the early window. There's a ton of NHL predictions to sort through.
Tye Kartye's role and minutes aren't being priced in properly today, the Mitch Marner assist gold mine is still producing, and the goal potential in Edmonton is off the charts.
These are my favorite NHL picks for Thursday, Nov. 5.

Pick #1: Tye Kartye Over 0.5 points
Tye Kartye is coming off a 20-minute performance with an assist, and his line with JT Miller and Gabe Perreault played the most 5-on-5 minutes for the Rangers. That came in a 3-1 win, so we should see another healthy dose of ice time against a bad Philadelphia team that ranks second-worst in the NHL in expected goals against per 60 minutes.
To make things even sweeter for a point prop that I believe should be priced at 46%, the Rangers used their PP2 unit more than the first unit in their last game.
There are power-play opportunities here, and the Rangers' offense has the potential to put up four goals tonight. Pair Kartye with JT Miller's point prop to get 3.25x odds.

Pick #2: Mitch Marner Over 0.5 assists
This market continues to be wrong. This assist prop should be priced at 58-60% right now.
Mitch Marner has recorded an assist in 11 straight games, and a $100 bet rolled over across all 11 games would theoretically turn into more than $200K. Obviously, that's nearly impossible to pull off, but you get the picture.
The Knights face Detroit, which could be down to its backup goalie after John Gibson exited last game, and Vegas is a 57% favorite. This has been one of my favorite props all season. If you're looking for more, Marner's 2+ assists is available at 5.5x.

Pick #3: Nugent-Hopkins/Kapanen/Sennecke/Gauthier Over 0.5 points each
Let's wrap up the day with a double-double stack in Edmonton, where this should be closer to 25% than the current 17%.
This game could have the highest total of the season, and the Ducks have been an Over wagon, cashing five straight Overs while scoring at least five goals in each game. That's thanks in part to the league's best power play, which has scored 10 goals over the last three games.
Beckett Sennecke wants nothing more than to just play hockey today and is coming off a four-point night. The Gauthier/Sennecke stack has hit in four of the last five games.
On the Edmonton side, there's plenty of value in Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Kasperi Kapanen, as both skate on the first power-play unit, which ranks third in the league. Both RNH and Kapanen have recorded points in four of their last five games.
This one has the potential to finish 6-5.
