The AFC North takes over Thursday Night Football as the 2-1 Steelers visit the 2-1 Browns tonight. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET at Huntington Bank Field, with Pittsburgh favored by 2.5 points.

My Steelers vs. Browns prediction notes that both teams escaped Week 3 with three-point wins, getting there in different ways. The Steelers finally found their offense against Cincinnati, while Cleveland needed a late touchdown to beat Carolina.

My Week 4 NFL picks back the Steelers' veteran quarterback-and-coach combo on Oct. 1, with the game airing on Prime Video.

For more, Jason Logan's Steelers vs. Browns props and Kyle LaRusic's Steelers vs. Browns touchdown picks tackle this contest from the player perspective.

 TOP Pick
Steelers vs Browns prediction: Steelers -2.5

Play to 55%.

Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy have been fantastic on short weeks. Rodgers is 13-6 straight up, and 13-5-1 against the spread in Thursday starts, while McCarthy’s Cowboys went 7-3 SU on Thursdays, including Thanksgiving.

There’s some recency here as well for Rodgers: in three Thursday starts since 2024, he’s thrown nine touchdowns and only two interceptions, with a passer rating above 100 each time.

I trust that preparation edge against Todd Monken, who’s coaching his first Thursday game as an NFL head coach. It’s also a tough turnaround for Deshaun Watson, who hasn’t played on a Thursday since 2020.

The Pittsburgh Steelers just erupted for 30 points while averaging 7.0 yards per play against Cincinnati after two spotty offensive weeks to open the season. The Cleveland Browns have won two straight, but a closer look at the box scores shows they lost the yards-per-play battle in both.

Covers COVERS INTEL: Despite declining play overall, Rodgers has been great in recent TNF appearances, posting passer ratings of 103.7, 118.9, and 118.1 in three Thursday games over the past two seasons.

Steelers vs Browns combo

These legs are heavily correlated, which is exactly the point.

If Rodgers throws for 200 yards and multiple touchdowns, Pittsburgh’s chances of winning climb. He’s cleared both passing marks in each of his three Thursday starts since 2024.

Last Sunday offered a more immediate reason to back him: Rodgers threw for a season-high 292 yards and three touchdowns as Pittsburgh finally got its offense moving against the Bengals. I’m backing that progress to carry into Cleveland, and building the combo around the way I expect the Steelers to win.

Steelers vs Browns combo

  • Steelers moneyline
  • Aaron Rodgers 200+ passing yards
  • Aaron Rodgers 2+ touchdown passes

Steelers vs Browns touchdown scorer: Roman Wilson

Cleveland has already allowed five touchdowns to the wide receiver position, and I’m expecting Rodgers to find success through the air.

Roman Wilson caught a 38-yard touchdown against Cincinnati and has drawn six targets in every game. He and DK Metcalf each have 11 receptions, despite Wilson seeing six fewer targets.

Metcalf is the obvious name, but Wilson offers a much better payout for a receiver Rodgers keeps looking for.

Steelers vs Browns player prop: Raheim Sanders Over 11.5 receiving yards

Raheim Sanders is in his second season with Cleveland, but his receiving role has grown quickly.

He's caught eight of nine targets for 66 yards through three games, clearing this number with 25 yards against Jacksonville and 34 against Carolina.

Sanders doesn’t need to explode to clear this prop if Watson continues using him as an outlet.
