Seahawks vs Cardinals predictions favor Arizona +4.5 and the Under 41.5, with Seattle’s defense, Sam Darnold’s absence, and the Cardinals’ improving roster shaping the best early angles.

The Seahawks vs. Cardinals predictions spotlight a pair of early plays as Seattle visits Arizona as a 4.5-point favorite Sunday afternoon at State Farm Stadium.

Arizona’s improved roster and Seattle’s imposing defense shape our NFL picks for this Week 2 NFC West clash.

Early Seahawks vs Cardinals spread pick: Cardinals +4.5

Kalshi probability: 54%

My fair price is "Arizona Cardinals +3.5".

If you adjust for home-field advantage, the Seattle Seahawks would be -8 favorites based on the current line. The Los Angeles Chargers closed as -9 favorites at home vs. Arizona last week. I would make Seattle without QB Sam Darnold a point worse than Los Angeles, who will be out this week with a hip injury.

The Cardinals beat the Chargers 26-14 Sunday, and Arizona's roster is better than its current power rating. Cardinals' Trey McBride is an All-Pro tight end, while No. 3 overall pick Jeremiyah Love gives the offense another high-end playmaker who wasn't part of last year's team.

Also, the market is giving the Seahawks a boost for having a rest edge since their last game was Wednesday, Sept. 9. But rest doesn't make that much of a difference here since it's the beginning of the season.

Early Seahawks vs Cardinals total pick: Under 41.5

Kalshi probability: 54%

The Under is good up to 43.5 because Seattle's defense allowed the fewest points in the league last season (17.2 points per game) and Arizona has a placeholder at quarterback (Jacoby Brissett) until it finds its franchise quarterback in free agency or the draft.

The Seahawks crushed New England Patriots QB Drake Maye, who was the 2025-26 NFL MVP runner-up, in their 13-10 Week 1 win. If the Seahawks can put Maye in the torture chamber, what will they do against Brissett, who was 28th in QBR last season?

Finally, Arizona's defense is at full strength, too, after losing the second-most games to injury last season, per FTN's 2026 season preview. The Cardinals have talent on that side of the ball and should play closer to league average this season, barring injury.
